I have recently published my memoir called To Hell and Back: A Traveller's Guide. It is a book that will inspire you to believe in miracles and the true power of your mind. Here is a little summary:

At the age of 24, Carly is struck down with ME. After being told repeatedly that her myriad of physical symptoms are simply a fabrication of her mind, it becomes clear to her that this is a battle she must fight on her own. To overcome this illness will take nothing short of a miracle. Little does she know that the change she has been seeking can be found within.

When we are dealing with something difficult in our lives, we often adopt patterns in order to try and cope under the circumstances to the best of our abilities. Sometimes these new patterns can cause more harm than they help us. When our attempts to ignore or reject these self-created parts fail, we feel frustrated and hopeless that we cannot create the positive changes that we desire.

During our time together, I will support you on your journey of self-exploration, teaching you the tools that will help you to release their hold on you, bringing you back to the person you truly are.

I provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for you to be able to explore the parts of yourself that you may be ashamed or unaware of at present, including your fears and defences. Our work together will be focused on your presenting issues. We will look at the past, but only in relation to how it effects who you are and how you react today.

Reiki is an energy healing therapy that works on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It is an extremely gentle yet effective healing technique and can help with many issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties and pain. It promotes general wellbeing and peace of mind, gently balancing and harmonising you in a holistic and individual way.

I work intuitively with my clients, sensing the areas of the body, mind and spirit that are in need of healing. During your treatment, I will channel universal life force energy, which supports your energetic system to release that which no longer serves you, removing blockages that stand in the way of you realising your full potential. I use my Master level training in Reiki to work with the pure intent of helping and healing. I offer both 1 hour and 1.5 hour sessions either in person or by distance healing.

Another option you can choose is to have a 1.5 hour session that consists of both therapy and Reiki combined. This combination is a powerful approach that heightens our potential for growth and change. Reiki helps you to feel more relaxed and at ease and to become more aware of your emotions, unblocking those of which have become stuck. It supports you to move towards self-acceptance and self-compassion, two important elements in transforming unresolved difficulties.
