Our summer fete fundraiser was a shining success! Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting our resident comfort fund, especially those that baked delicious goodies for the cake stall and donated items for the raffle. A day full of fabulous music by the Senior Samba Band, fun with the daring magician, and great company surrounded by our residents, family, friends, and Mayor of Brighton & Hove Amanda Grimshaw.

Exciting morning at The Pines today, we were visited by the lovely team from Channel Five News who wanted to do a segment about the upcoming heat wave and how we deal with hot weather and keep everyone safe!
On tonights Channel Five News at 5pm! Keep an eye out for us and stay safe in the Sun! 😎

Were still looking for donations for our raffle for our summer fete on 30th August, however big or small!
A great way to get rid of any unwanted presents!!!

Roll up, roll up!
Set a date for our summer fete with The Senior Samba Band and their dance troupe performing for us and a Magician!
We are looking for raffle donations if you have anything suitable and we will also be doing a cake stall and asking everyone to bring in their best cake to be judged! The winner will get a free lunch at The Pines!
Everyone is welcome so please come along and help raise some money for the residents comfort fund.

It has been a busy season here at . Residents have been hard at work cultivating a fantastic crop of plants. Everything from Sunflowers to Petunias hanging baskets. Our Head Gardener Brian has been curating our plants and arrangements for the terrace and has made our terrace full of colour and wildlife!

With the weather being so lovely this week we took residents out on two trips to the sea front in the morning we took in the Hove seafront and in the afternoon we took the undercliff walk from Saltdean to Rottingdean had Ice creams and enjoyed the sun.

Lots of fun at the Pines, the residents were treated to a singer, along with a buffet and a pub quiz!
