Welcome!

My name is Claire, and I’m an Ofsted-registered Childminder based in Shoreham-by-Sea with over 20 years of experience in childcare. I hold a National Diploma in Childcare and a Foundation Degree in Early Years. I’m also fully trained in paediatric first aid, have an up-to-date DBS check, and regularly refresh my safeguarding training to ensure the highest standards of care.

I’m also a mum to two wonderful boys, aged 7 and 10. My journey into childminding began after having my first son — I wanted to create the kind of nurturing, individualised care I would want for my own children. That desire has grown into a warm, home-from-home setting where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to learn — supported by a holistic approach that cares for the whole child: their well-being, development, and individuality.

I’m proud to offer a fun environment, combining the richness of a nursery setting with the personal attention of a smaller home-based approach. Every child is treated as an individual, and I take the time to truly understand their needs, interests, and personalities. This helps them settle in quickly and feel happy and confident.

Opening Hours (Term-Time Only):
Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Ad hoc Thursday or Friday sessions available
