Paula entertained residents with a mix of songs from different eras, we sang and danced along. The room was alive with a real party atmosphere 🥰🎶🎤

Everyone enjoyed being creative in art club. Residents decorated pebbles with their own designs. We aim to water proof them and place them in our garden here at Dean Wood as they are so vibrant we think the birds will love them.🦜🥰

Tania has been entertaining residents here at Dean Wood for many years and her act never grows old. We sing and dance along with Tania to songs including’ The long winding road’, ‘Spirit it the sky’, ‘ she’s not there’ sweet Caroline and many more 🎶🎤

We have installed a new water butt here at Dean Wood so residents can use collected rain water to water the plants in our lovely garden.
This morning a few residents enjoyed a walk outside and watered some plants. We talked about flowers and plants and residents recalled their own gardens 💦🪴🪻🌱

Michael lack performed on saxophone and sang some beautiful Jazz and soul classics this afternoon here at Dean Wood . Residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves 🥰🎷

This week is national allotments week so we brought the allotment inside for residents. Residents potted Roma Tomatoes , golden sunrise yellow tomatoes , sweet peppers and pumpkin seeds. We are also in the process of building our own small indoor greenhouse. Watch this space for updates on our seedlings and indoor greenhouse. 🪴🍅🫑🎃

Christina brought her therapy dog Teddy in to visit residents this morning. Teddy enjoyed all the petting and residents loved seeing Teddy again 🦮

Happy birthday to our lovely Joan. Joan was so happy when we sang to her and presented her with her birthday cake. 🎂🥳

This afternoon we were treated to a concert from Patcham silver band. Our lovely resident Raie was super proud to watch her son perform in the band .
Residents wrapped up in coats and blankets to watch and listen to the band play. We were not letting the grey sky ruin our afternoon ☺️
Everyone had a wonderful afternoon 🎷🎺📯
