We are really excited to introduce our new doctor, Dr Emma Richards, who has joined our practice and will be taking appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Saturdays.

Emma has 18 years of experience, graduating from Cambridge Medical School in 2006, having previously gained a First-Class degree at Birmingham University in Biomedical Science. Her hospital training included working in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medicine and General Surgery as well as several Accident and Emergency departments.

Emma has a special interest in women’s health and menopause. She worked as a GP within the NHS for 10 years before joining The Hove Practice. She is passionate about fully understanding and connecting with patients to formulate the best solution for them as an individual.

We offer a wide variety of private vaccinations, including travel vaccination and immunisations, at The Hove Practice.

We are happy to follow British and International immunisation schedules for babies, children and adults. Our practice physicians are able to provide vaccinations outside of the NHS schedule for those that wish.

We offer Single Concern GP Consultations which are 15 minutes long, for reviewing and potentially treating a single medical issue, inclusive of a prescription if required.

This appointment type is slightly cheaper than our standard 30 minute GP appointment and is suitable for patients with isolated concerns.
