My pension statement got me thinking about time and what I want to do with it!
Because of the state pension age, I have more years of work ahead of me than I do behind me…….🤮

Then all question started in my head;

• Am I doing a job I want to do for the next 25 years?
• What is holding me back from what I really want to do?
• What do I need to do to upskill?
• Who do I want to evolve into for the next phase of my life?
• How can I comfortably become the person I know I want to be?
• Am I working towards a fulfilling life? � � � � � � � � � �

The answer to all of the above is – You know what you need to do but somewhere our subconscious and comfort zone stops us from taking the action needed to get to the next place we dream of.
Something in your past experience taught you that change and uncertainty is scary. That learning new things means you might fail and look stupid. Your financial mindset locks you in lack and traps you in the day to day grind of a job you hate because it pay the bills and is safely predictable.

This is so worth a watch and completely resonated with me and my experience!
Having grown up around mediumship and witnessed spirit, and having studying neuroscience as part of my degree - this really hit home!

has lifted the lid on the science and the mystical putting her credibility and reputation at risk by having the courage to talk about mediumship and the power of our minds.

She talks about her own grief and how she learnt to communicate with her loved one. She describes spirit, signs and syncronicities, and how we have senses beyond our 3D world from a neuroscientific perspective.

Blending modern day knowledge with ancient wisdom, she argues we should suspend our disbelief to accept that there is very likely more to what we know about our minds and it's capability.

Touching on the mind/body connection she outlines how our bodies remember and stores trauma. She used somatic release to help her through grief - our bodies 'keep the score'.

Its our subconscious job to keep us safe, safe in our comfort zone.
But the subconscious also holds unhealthy beliefs about us based on past experiences and old emotions.

That were not good enough,
that were stupid,
that everyone else gets to have a good life,
that there is no point trying again because we're useless,
that we have no motivation and we're unlovable, worthless, or going to be exposed at any moment!

But, we get to change that! We can rewire our old beliefs to make us show up differently today.

Calling all people suffering with chronic pain and aliments who have tried all the treatment and meds with little resolve. Some treatments help but its only temporary relief, meaning you live with it, and it becomes the norm you put up with.

I realised my lower back pain steadily worsened after each breakup and heartache from being cheated on. But, I would never have understood my chronic pain was due to trapped emotions if it wasn’t for Belief Coding®️.

Don’t get me wrong, I physically hurt my back over the years too through accidents and over doing it in the gym. I spent thousands of pounds on osteopaths and physio, but they never truly shifted the pain – I just learnt to live with it and thought other people did too.

Weight Loss Struggles - Let’s Talk About What’s Really Going On

Why can losing weight feels so hard, even when you’re motivated? It’s not always about eating too much or not moving enough. Sometimes, the reasons are much deeper and more personal. Here are just a few things that might be holding you back:

● Lack of self-love: If you struggle to truly love yourself, it can be tough to stick with anything long-term.

● Feeling insecure in your body: Anxiety about what being thinner might bring can stop you from making changes.

● Feeling unsafe when skinny: Maybe the last time you were lean, you received unwanted attention, and that memory makes it feel unsafe to lose weight again.

● Not feeling worthy: Sometimes, deep down, you might secretly believe you’re not worthy of feeling beautiful or strong.

● The “big b***d” belief: Repeating to yourself that you’ve always been big b***d and that it just “runs in the family.”

● Comfort eating when sad or lonely: Reaching for chocolate (or other comfort foods) for that quick dopamine hit when you’re feeling down.

5 reasons why we Procrastinate

Ever wonder why we put things off?
This can be due to;
1. Fear of failure,
2. Perfectionism,
3. "Lack of motivation",
4. Poor time management or other excuses we tell ourselves,
5. Easy digital distractions!

Despite being conscious that we are doing it, procrastination can lead to increased stress and low mood, lower quality work, missed deadlines, and reduced productivity.

These are behaviours driven by subconscious scripts showing up as procrastination. They are limiting beliefs about ourselves we've imprinted from past experiences, which mean we don't show up for ourselves. We ultimately let ourselves down and postpone what we are really capable of.

Eeeekk uncomfortable achievement post incoming!

Part of my corporate career has been about helping victims of crime and bringing offenders to justice.
I was honoured to be specifically selected to work on a high profile, covert and prestigious enquiry.

This was Sussex Police first ever Double Jeopardy investigation resulting in the long awaited conviction of Russell Bishop - the Babes in the Woods double child killer (1986).

The story of the reinvestigation couldn't be told without the bravery of a little girl who survived a horrific attack in 1990 after Bishop was wrongly acquitted.
Rachel Watts 'the girl who caught a killer', had the courage to pick Bishop out of a line up and chose to give evidence in court.
The police team and I feature in the Sky Documentary 'the girl who caught a killer' on Sunday May 25th and June 1st at 9pm Sky Documentaries (and Now TV).

So here I am, Terri O'Sullivan as seen on the BBC (The Prosecutors) and Sky TV!

So, why do we get so uncomfortable telling people about our successes or achievements?!
In the past we might have heard;
● don't be a big head
● show off
● you're getting too big for your boots
● know it all
● you're not all that
● who do you think you are!

Anything that would make us shrink and believe our achievements shouldn't be championed or recognised.
This works its way into the subconscious meaning we don't take the action to celebrate successes or we minimise our qualities.

It manifests by holding ourselves back, not taking an opportunity or promotion, and believing we're not good enough even though we're one of the smartest in the room!

The good news is we can cognitively rewire our limiting beliefs to shine like we deserve and give the finger to playing small🖕

What daily habits do you have?

I've been trying something new lately......
Each night before I go to bed, I thank the universe for the abundance it brings me and ask it to show me how good life can get.
Then, each morning when I wake up, I say out loud that 'today is going to be a good day', stretch, and hug the goodness towards me.

Strangely, something seems to be shifting. My focus has moved to seeing opportunities and claiming it.
It might be small but in the past week I have;
● lost a door key to have a friend find one I lost 6 years previous on the same day.
● stated I was going to win the bingo and did!
● Found a £10 note outside my house.
● had an email land in my inbox containing an opportunity and I was brave enough to reply.

I've switched my focus and my thinking, and I'm loving the results.

What would you switch or do differently to lead you towards your best life?
