lifeFIT is a small group of fully equipped gyms and personal training studios aimed at helping people over the age of 35 to achieve your health and fitness goals. lifeFIT has been designed to help our clients maintain fitness while keeping on track with the rest of life, family, work, eating out, coffee! There is mounting evidence demonstrating high intensity exercise, performed once or twice a week, is more beneficial than more frequent lower intensity training. Most people regard high intensity training as tuck jumps and burpees or similiar exercises. While these are high intensity exercises they can lead to injury as the impact through the bones and joints takes its toll. My low impact high intensity style of training, provides intensity through changes in muscle tension, and changes in speed of movement. This is a highly efficient method for;

Increasing metabolic rate
Increasing back strength
Reducing fat
Improved bone health
Enhanced flexibility
Increase lean muscle

There are other benefits too;

Safe, no one is injury free, but this method of training reduces your risk of injury while exercising and improves your resistance to injury while undertaking everyday tasks. Reduces stress and muscle tension

Lots of people love training outside in the parks of Brighton and Hove, or down by the beach. There truely is nothing better than training first thing in the morning on the beach. Its a bit of a myth that more exercise is better for us. like most things in life, a better quality workout is better for us, than a long drawn out workout with lots of Insta updates. There is so much research now that as little as 12 minutes a week can have a positive impact on your muscles.
