Brighton & Hove Community Transport

We are the only community transport organisation in Brighton & Hove with
the experience and resources to deliver high quality accessible transport
across the whole spectrum of the city’s diverse population. Our staff are fully
trained to national standards that meet the individual needs of our service
users - including disability awareness. I would like to tell you of my work history and also introduce myself. Proud Operations Manager here at Community Transport. From leaving school in 1985 I entered into an Engineering Apprenticeship, after four years at technical College. Focussing on the major disciplines within Mechanical engineering. Passed five City & Guild Exams, Grades: Pass, Merit & Distinction leading to become a Precision Tool Maker. Moved away and then entered the Caring Profession. Worked in a Challenging residential home as a support worker, leading to work in a Nursing Home for adults with learning Disabilities. Served Ten Years of Service. Stared work at Brighton & Hove Community Transport in 2011 as a driver. Role:
To contribute to the provision of high quality passenger transport for our customers, by driving vehicles, including school services, (ADSC) services and Group Hire services, maintaining records relating to such services, handling cash as required, and contributing to the efficient operations. Brighton & Hove Community Transport - 2016 - 2018 Office Administrator. Brighton & Hove Community Transport - 2018 - 2019 Fleet Supervisor.

2019 - to present. Brighton & Hove Community Transport - Operations Manager. Thank you to all involved with Community Transport.
