🌿 Today is World Menopause Day 🌿
World Menopause Day is a reminder that this stage of life is something every woman deserves to feel supported through.
About five years ago, I began experiencing increased anxiety, low mood, disrupted sleep, brain fog, and debilitating headaches. It was the start of perimenopause — and I was told, “this could just be the way things are for the next ten years.”
Well, I wasn't having that!
So I sought out tools to help manage my symptoms — medication, lifestyle changes, and of course, acupuncture. It made such a difference that it’s now a regular part of my own wellbeing routine (and yes, sometimes I even do a bit of self-needling!).
