🌿✨ Midweek Sauna Ritual ✨🌿
Wednesday 26th November · 7–8pm · Saltdean Sauna

A gentle 60-minute sauna journey to realign your body and mind with the rhythm of the elements and seasons.

Move through four stages — Breath, Flow, Movement, and Grounding — guided by scent, steam, and touch:

🍃 Winter / Air – Breath
Opening with cleansing scents and mindful breathing to settle the mind.

💧 Spring / Water – Flow
Connecting with water and gentle steam to soften and release.

🔥 Summer / Fire – Movement
Body tapping or subtle movement to awaken energy and circulation.

🌍 Autumn / Earth – Grounding
A nourishing honey massage to restore balance and return to stillness.

Each ritual is unique, weaving in seasonal themes or natural elements. An invitation to pause, rebalance, and return to yourself midweek.

Guided by Kira, a Lithuanian-style sauna master and wellbeing facilitator behind Moon and Mind, blending ancient sauna tradition with modern mindfulness and seasonal wisdom.

Want to tap into flow more often?
Flow is that delicious state where time disappears, your mind stops scattering, and you feel grounded, energised, and fully here. It boosts creativity, sharpens focus, and gives your nervous system a well-needed reset.

Here are some simple ways to invite more flow into your day:

✨ Pick something with a tiny challenge, enough to engage you, but not overwhelm you
✨ Set a clear intention so your brain knows what to focus on
✨ Remove distractions (yes… your phone counts)
✨ Create a sensory cue for focus, soft lighting, a favourite playlist, a tidy space
✨ Follow your interest, flow is much easier when you want to be doing the thing
✨ Work in short bursts to build momentum
✨ Start before you feel “ready”, flow often clicks in once you begin

And a little reminder: flow doesn’t have to look productive. It can be movement, creativity, nature, breath, sound — anything that pulls you into presence.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how simple practices can become deep rituals when we bring awareness to them.

Sauna is one of those. It looks like just sitting in heat, but there’s so much happening beneath the surface.

When we sweat, we’re not just releasing water, we’re clearing space in the body. The contrast between hot and cold strengthens circulation, supports the lymphatic system, boosts recovery, and trains the body to adapt to stress in a calm and steady way.
Hydration becomes the anchor in that process, helping the body balance and replenish what’s released.

I’ve started using this sauna bottle each session because it actually stays cold inside the heat, and doesn’t burn your hands when you hold it. A small thing, but it makes a real difference to the experience.
