Situated in the tranquil settings of Patcham, Place Farm House is a 19 bed residential care home for the retired.

The home is at the heart of the local community with many of its residents having resided in the Patcham area for a number of years. Place Farm House has existed as a care home since 1992 and has built strong links with various community and church groups and is an integral part of the local community.

We took a walk down to honey’s coffee shop this morning.
There were plenty of smiles, delicious drinks, and of course lots of conversation. It’s always wonderful to see everyone enjoying a cozy outing together. ☕️🍁

🎶We had such a lovely week here! The wonderful Tania joined us to sing some of our favourite songs and we all really enjoyed it. On top of that, we had great fun with a lively games of guess the royal baby. Plenty of laughter and some impressive knowledge on display. 👑

🌸🌹 This afternoon we enjoyed a lovely flower arranging session 🌹🌸
There were smiles all around as everyone got creative with colours and blooms, filling the room with both laughter and the sweet scent of fresh flowers. 💐

This morning we took a trip out to nottcutt’s garden centre! We shared coffee and plenty of laughter while browsing the beautiful flowers. 🌺

This afternoon, our residents enjoyed a lively round of famous faces! From classic movie stars, to singers and British prime ministers, everyone had a great time reminiscing, sharing stories, and testing their memory skills.

Our residents are incredible - 152 new words from the word ‘deliberation’. Just phenomenal! We also enjoyed learning about the early lives, career and legacy of the legendary Morecambe & Wise and enjoyed watching their iconic sketches. We finished our day with cathartic pebble painting, with our wonderful work experience students. A joyful day all round 😁
