Situated in the tranquil settings of Patcham, Place Farm House is a 19 bed residential care home for the retired.

The home is at the heart of the local community with many of its residents having resided in the Patcham area for a number of years. Place Farm House has existed as a care home since 1992 and has built strong links with various community and church groups and is an integral part of the local community.

Our staff meetings at Christmas are a time for fun, enjoyment & reflection 🥳

James (chef) won residents staff member of the year & thank you to Reg for a great speech recognising this & the wider staff. Ellie won employee of the quarter (as voted by other staff) & is fully deserved 👏🏻 We also celebrated our favourite documented Magical Moments of 2025. A little bit of fun ensued with Karen & Andy having to guess their staff's voices.

We’ve enjoyed a gentle walk to All Saints church, taking in the fresh air and the beautiful surroundings, followed by a cosy afternoon back at home watching a true Christmas classic. 🎄🎬❄️

Today we had a heart warming visit from the toddlers at The Craft House Nursery, and our residents absolutely loved it! 💛
The little ones bought so much joy as we all gathered to play pass the parcel, share giggles and sing along to our favourite nursery rhymes. 🎵🎁

Thank you to some of the children at Patcham High School for serenading our residents with some Christmas classics as well as some more modern tunes - we love it!

🍂✨ What a busy and joyful November we’re having here at Place Farm House! 🍂✨

Our month has been filled with wonderful moments so far, from the excitement of bonfire night celebrations to the elegance of our ballroom dancers, who brought music and movement that residents absolutely loved. 💃🕺

We also came together for Remembrance Day, taking the time to honour and reflect with gratitude on those who served our country ❤️🌺

We were thrilled to see Bonnie, our new pet therapy dog, whose visits always bring comfort, companionship and plenty of happy smiles. 🐾

Here’s to a month full of warmth, connection and special memories!

🎃👻 Halloween fun with our little visitors! 👻🎃
We had such a spook-tacular time today welcoming the children from the Craft House Nursery to our care home! 🧡
The room was filled with laughter as we sang nursery rhymes together and played some lively balloon games 🎈🎶 We all enjoyed spending time with the little ones and there were smiles all around.
