Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that there's a 24h sale on my Pottery and the Menstrual Cycle workshop tickets - where we'll be creating a menstrual cycle anatomy themed dish, and learning about the anatomy as we go ❤️
The tickets are currently 50% off if you use the code SPRINGSALE to buy them via the link below. Keep reading for more info on the workshop. Hopefully see you Friday ☺️
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-z-creations-learn-and-create-pottery-and-the-menstrual-cycle-tickets-556394730617
In this class, Annie will be giving a guided demonstration of how to make a special, small decorative dish that will serve as a memory aid to help you connect to your body and menstrual cycle. You can use the plate to hold special objects such as jewellery or crystals, or keep it just for display, it’s up to you. On these plates, Annie will show you how to coil and sculpt shapes relating to the menstrual cycle such as the ovaries, womb, va**na and v***a. As you sculpt each item, you’ll hear about its role in the menstrual cycle from Menstrual Cycle Coach, Zoë - in much more detail than you’ll have learned in school. By the end of the class you’ll have a thorough understanding of the menstrual cycle and some hand-building pottery techniques.
There’ll be red underglaze available and/or a transparent gloss for the final touch. We’ll be using professional stoneware clay and all pieces will be fired in the kiln for you to pick up another day. All levels of clay experience are welcome - this workshop is not about creating a perfect work of art, but to learn about your body whilst you use your hands to play with the clay, to explore/express your creativity, connect even deeper to your body and menstrual cycle, and perhaps even make some new friends.
Zoe would love to emphasise that people who experience menstrual cycles and those who don’t, are both very welcome. We encourage everyone to learn about the menstrual cycle and anatomy regardless of personal experience, so you can better understand your partners, family, and half of the world’s population.
10% of profits will be donated to Bloody Good Period, to help period poverty around the world.
Buy tickets now at 50% off using code SPRINGSALE: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-z-creations-learn-and-create-pottery-and-the-menstrual-cycle-tickets-556394730617

A To Z creations creations' first offering: learn about the four phases of the menstrual cycle whilst you create a themed dish out of clay.

Just held my first ever 1:1 Menstrual Cycle coaching session over video call. Unexpectedly, it was just as magical as if we had been in the same room, I guess that’s the magic of coaching/healing work and a good connection with the client ✨
The tarot card I pulled for myself before the session was the 6 of Cups reversed = a new beginning, a promising future, renewal 🤍
The card for the session as a whole was The High Priestess which felt like a nod from the universe that I should indeed be offering this kind of help/healing🪄
Absolutely loved that session, and looking forward to this being a regular part of my life!

Feeling so much gratitude to and who nurtured me, and ultimately helped get me to this point ❤️

So happy to starting my Tempdrop Fertility Tracker] journey! Big thanks to for facilitating and for the cute extras 🥰
Temp drop is a wearable device that continuously takes your temperature throughout the night, so you can get a more accurate reading than having to rely on waking up at the same time, and all the other annoying parts of Basal Body Charting.
It’s small, unnoticeable (honestly I feel uncomfortable and can’t sleep if even my sheets are rucked up, and I forgot I had this on!) and it only synchs over bluetooth when you tell it to in the morning.
I used it last night and so far so good, I’m also taking my temp orally for the next cycle so I can see how it compares - the tempdrop is worn on the skin so the readings will be relatively lower than if you normally take your temp orally, so it might take a bit of getting used to for a couple of cycles when trying to figure out if you’re about to ovulate etc.
One thing I think could be better Tempdrop Fertility Tracker], is the synthetic lingerie style band that comes with it. I will never wear that in a million years 😅 Would love to see a cotton or a natural fabric band instead as standard. Better for the planet and for our bodies. 🌍 💚

My b***s were on telly. Definitely a strange thing to write, but I’m proud to have been part of the march in 2021, which was featured in ‘s programme, ‘Boobs’. It’s an educational, moving, and empowering watch - go find it on More 4 now. I hope everyone who sees it has their internalised patriarchal ideals challenged, and that the constant policing and consent-less sexualisation of women’s breasts and ni***es will ease before my future children come of age - until then I will continue to do my part in making it so.

Spring has begun to stir as I’m deep in my inner Autumn. When changing inner and outer seasons are at odds, it can feel a bit disconcerting. Your mind can want to join in with Spring-like activities - dancing, socialising, being out in nature. But your body can want the opposite - to withdraw inwards, to want to stay warm, to start settling down to hibernate for winter. Just notice these contradictory feelings within yourself and give them all space to express themselves, and make adjustments to accommodate both polarities. For example, I still went to Zumba (a high energy dance work-out) last night, but I participated at half-capacity. And I felt good for just being there and moving my body as I could (I was bloated as hell and jumping too much made me feel like the granola I’d mistakenly eaten only half an hour before was going to make a reappearance), even though it wasn’t with the same vigour as if I had been in my inner Spring or Summer.
Happy Imbolc (first day of Spring) and Lunar new year to you all!

It can feel disconcerting when your inner menstrual season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) is at odds with the yearly season you’re currently experiencing.
I’m moving into my inner summer, yet it’s still the cold and mostly grey English Winter outside. I want to wear loose salt-kissed dresses down to the beach and fling it off before skinny dipping in the warm ocean, but the reality couldn’t be further from that desire. So instead we must find moments of summer where we can - in a sunny bunch of flowers, in turning the heating up and dancing to latin pop in that summer dress, in letting the golden morning and evening light bathe our faces when it’s there. Whatever reminds you of Summer that can be done at any time of year!

I can’t put into words how much yesterday’s meet-up means to me. I have been organising it with Claire for about a month, and it was everything I imagined it to be and more. Many moments of awe, gratitude, bliss, empathy, and sisterhood. It was so soul-filling to be able to finally hug those who I have shared the mundane & beautiful moments with on Zoom, and amazing to be able to meet some cycle coaches from abroad and from other cohorts 😍.
To those who couldn’t make it, we called you in and felt you there too. This is only the beginning! So much more fun & laughter still to be had, wisdom & tears to be shared. Thank you x 1 million to for hosting and facilitating this meet-up, we love you, and you make loving you and what you stand for so effortless ❤️✨

Some photos from the wonderful trip me and my partner took at Paphos, Cyprus ☀️ 🧡
We only had a short window to go so it was quite spontaneous. September was one of the most stressful months for me of the last couple of years, and I was in my inner Autumn which can make me feel more irritable, so I was nervous about being able to properly relax whilst out there.
Luckily as soon as the plane took off I felt myself leaving my troubles further behind with every mile. I was able to have a great time, with only a little bit of stress some evenings filling in forms with short deadlines to move house (now you see why my month has been so stressful!).
Unfortunately, waking up back home on Monday morning, the stress hit me again like a ton of bricks. The relaxing effect was only temporary. This is an important lesson. You cannot run away from or ignore situations that are causing you stress long-term, but you can have temporary respites. These are important to allow your body to come out of fight-or-flight, and relax enough to heal, digest, and do the things bodies don’t do so well when stressed.
Even now that I’ve moved house, I can still feel my nervous system humming an echo of that recent prolonged stress. It’s taking a while for me to come back into my body and feel like I’ve arrived - with each box unpacked it’s feeling more and more real. As my environment starts to be more calm and ordered, so does my mind.
We are resilient creatures, we can make it through stressful periods when we have to, and that’s what I keep telling myself everyday - this too shall pass.
If however you find that half a year has gone by and you’re still as stressed as you were during a big life event, and it hasn’t gone down. Your body may be stuck in flight or fight mode (also called sympathetic mode), and there are plenty of techniques to do daily to help bring you out of it as your default mode. I highly recommend ‘s course Fight or Flight Fix. I took it over lockdown and helped myself come out of around 6 years of fight or flight being my default mode. That and the copious amounts of healing love gifted to me by my partner.
October - I’m ready for you 🖤
