Fear is so scary, but overcoming it really doesn’t have to be.✨✨✨

I watched some of Channel 4’s Fear Clinic last night, all about phobias and a pretty brutal way of overcoming them through exposure. 🧠

It illustrated the power of the subconscious in overriding conscious logical thinking, but as a hypnotherapist, I know facing fear in this way simply isn’t necessary.There are far more gentle way to overcome fears and phobias. Your subconscious holds the key to conquering phobias without the need for harsh methods. 💪🧠

✨ Hi there! I thought it’s time to reintroduce myself and share a little more about my story… and some random fun facts too! ✨

I’m Larissa, a Mind Coach and Hypnotherapist with a passion for helping others break free from their fears, anxieties, and limiting thought patterns. But did you know that my journey into hypnotherapy started with my own phobias?

💡 It all began with a severe fear of flying. I decided to try hypnotherapy, and the results were life-changing – the next time I was at the airport, I was amazed to find myself feeling totally calm and present.

⏱️Later, as I trained to become a hypnotherapist, I tackled another big fear: needles. Hypnotherapy helped me overcome this too, which strengthened my passion for helping others find freedom from their own struggles.

Here are some facts about me you might not know:

🔹 Born in Munich, I lived there until I was 8, and I still love going back.
🔹 In the 80s, I rocked a mullet (who didn’t?!)
🔹 I love weird films/tv, so Fargo, Twin Peaks and Severance are perfect for me.
🔹 I’m a music lover at heart, so living in London in my 20s was all about gigs!
🔹 While I used to devour fiction, these days, I’m fascinated by all things neuroscience and the brain (occupational hazard, I guess!).
🔹 I absolutely adore dogs and plan to rescue another one soon 🐾
🔹 And yes, I think I have the best job ever. Helping people make positive, lasting changes to their lives is incredibly rewarding. And that’s why I work with a wide range of issues instead of focussing on one niche - everyone’s story is unique and hypnotherapy can help with a countless range of issues!

It’s often not the situation itself but how we perceive it that fuels this feeling.

When we believe we can’t manage everything, stress and anxiety escalate, and we get stuck in a cycle of feeling out of control.🌪️

The truth is, while we can’t always change the circumstances, we can change how we think, feel, and respond.🧠

💫Shifting our mindset can make all the difference. Instead of feeling powerless, we can take back control by focusing on what we can influence—our reactions.
