Understanding Ayurveda will help you place more emphasis more on prevention, allowing your body to build a stronger and more reliable immune system naturally.

We will cover the following topics:

1. What is Ayurveda?
An introduction to what is Ayurveda, the 5 elements and the 3 doshas.

2. Why do we get sick?
What can we do to maintain a positive state of health and avoid getting sick?

3. The Ayurvedic Routine
Your daily life is the key factor in determining your health and your quality of experience, and it is the factor over which you have the most control. What we do every day either builds up our health, vitality, and resistance to disease, or wears us down.

4. Ayurvedic nutrition guidelines
We will explore the importance of nutrition in Ayurveda and for your wellbeing. My aim is to give you the tools to understand the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition, so that you can choose a suitable diet for maintaining balance and health in your life. We will discuss what food will suit and balance the 3 doshas, how to avoid food combinations that will create toxins in the body, and what eating habits to cultivate/avoid, in order to receive the most nourishment from what you eat.

I'd love to see you there if you're interested! 😍

New Blog Post https://wix.to/VCn8Hw5

Hello everyone!

This month, I’d like to talk about the powerful link between the mind and the gut. Our emotions—whether calm, stressed, or anxious—affect our digestion in ways we might not realise. This connection, known as the Brain-Gut Connection, shows just how deeply our mental and physical well-being are woven together.

By understanding this bond, you can take steps toward a healthier, more balanced body and spirit. Let’s discover how stress affects our sensitive gut and uncover simple lifestyle tips that nurture not just your gut, but your whole self.

The Brain-Gut Connection
The brain and gut are deeply connected through an intricate network of nerves and chemicals, creating a flow between our emotions and digestive health.

This Brain-Gut Connection explains why we sometimes feel physical sensations—like stomach discomfort—when stressed or anxious. On the other hand, enjoying a nourishing meal can bring about calm and grounding biologically and spiritually.

Stress can disrupt not only our physical health but also our spiritual harmony. This stress and digestive system connection can reveal itself in physical symptoms like bloating, cramping, or irregular bowel movements.

Over time, chronic stress may also disturb the balance of bacteria in the gut, which impacts gut health and can lead to more digestive issues, even chronic pain.

Understanding how stress affects gut health encourages a more holistic approach—nurturing our digestion while bringing balance to our mental and emotional well-being.
