I trained with IAIM (international association of infant masage) to facilitate baby massage classes.
It was such a a joy to see mother & baby bonding though massage.

Lunch time today I took 10 minutes for some barefoot walking. I love feeling the grass beneath my feet. It gives me a feeling of being grounded & gives a sense of well-being.
Also Barefoot walking is said to stimulate the nervous system, can improve balance, help with pain relief and lead to improved mechanics of hips, knees and core.

I had an amazing adventures in Sri Lanka.
Wonderful wildlife, beautiful temples, pretty beaches and fabulous waterfalls.
The last 4 days of the trip I spent at an Ayurveda Retreat.
I've been interested in the holistic Ayurvedic way for a long time & always wanted to experience what it would be like.
I loved it.

We visited the doctor first and had a consultation, then , had massage treatments, cleansing treatments , did yoga, meditation and eat Sri Lankan Ayurvedic food and drink.

"Ayurveda translated from Sanskrit as “the knowledge of life”, is said to be the oldest system of medicine in the world, dating back to the Vedic period of India, at least a few thousand years ago. It is different from our modern concept of medicine, it encompasses not only the body but psychology, philosophy and spirituality. Due to this all-encompassing nature, it is a truly holistic system."
