When we met, we realised we had a shared passion and belief that our experience working with women throughout pregnancy, birth and postnatally could be brought together to help make other pregnancies a more positive experience. The Mother Box is so much more than a gift box and brings together our combined 25 years of working with women as a Midwife and a Doula. We have packed each Mother Box with

information, top tips and the best products we could find. Everything in your box has been carefully selected using our professional experience and the practical knowledge we have gained from being a part of the mama tribe ourselves. The Mother Box is all about holding and supporting women throughout their journey to motherhood. Growing, birthing and nurturing your baby changes you as a woman, physically and mentally. It can be tough, this is why we want you to give yourself permission to slow down, to be kind to yourself and to know that we understand. We are so excited about this venture and have so many plans and really hope this venture supports as many women as possible.

Today I had the complete privilege of providing reflexology, whilst massaged, A&E doctors and nurses at the South East Coast Emergency Medicine Conference.

Imagine the work that they put in day and night…. and how much they deserve to be looked after and scooped up for a change.

The day was a chance for them to network/ learn new skills/ talk (debate) with our local MP’s about the state of emergency medicine and be reminded how important they are too, and how their own needs and rest matter hugely ✨

I’m a huge believer in supporting small businesses and luckily living in Brighton we are surrounded by so many awesome independent shops and salons so it makes it easy to do so.
Last week I had a reminder just how amazing small businesses are! I put out a request to see if anyone could hook me up with any retailers who could donate some well-being goodies for the goodie bags for the south east coast emergency medicine conference, where we will be doing well-being treatments for exhausted A&E Drs.
I also contacted some bigger high street stores asking the same. My responses were a mixture of no reply, and blanket no’s - rude!
The donations came from some amazing small businesses I am lucky enough to know. Generous donations that let’s face it will come out of their own pockets - unlike the larger corporations who I know have budgets for such donations!
So a huge huge thank you to for their glorious bath salts for your heavenly eye masks for your gorgeous mindful prints for your generous donation of 1:1 PT sessions and for your amazing offer of 1:1 sessions with you - how unbelievably kind and supportive - and we are so incredibly grateful!
Just another reminder that small businesses rock!

We’ll be at tomorrow from 9.30-12 with the last of the stock from our online shop - come along, have a cuppa and treat yourself to a relaxing herbal tea, a gorgeous bath soak, some alpaca bed socks, weighted eye pillows, aromatherapy rollers and lush candles to name a few of the glorious products we have left in stock.

So that’s a wrap on the boxes! ❤️
The online shop is now shut. Thank you to every single one of you who placed an order with our little shop. It really is true when you are a small business you do appreciate them all.❤️❤️
We’re not going anywhere! We’ll still be doing therapies, promoting the books, running workshops and well-being days - and now we have more time, we’ll be doing even more ‘with women & birthing people work’ which has always been our passion.
Anyone in need of some top quality self care goodness - we’ll be doing a couple of table top sales in Brighton to sell our last bits of stock - one on May 14th at Beccy’s Studio in fiveways and one on the 17th at so come and say hi and grab a bargain.
