The University of Brighton Pharmacy Society has been running for around for 7 years, and we aim to make your university life here at Brighton much more enjoyable, and create a sense of unity in uni. The main events we are the Staff vs Student Pub Quiz and the annual Pharmacy Ball, which gives everybody an excuse to be very formal and fancy, especially our lecturers. We also organise pub crawls, so
me jointly organised with other societies like BSMS MedSoc and BioSoc. We occasionally organise guest lecturers to come in and talk to the students about other areas of pharmacy that they wouldn’t necessarily have first thought of, and give you a perspective in various fields of pharmacy. We have a direct link to the head of the school so if the student population has a problem we can try and fix it by talking to members of staff involved. Remember to contact your year representitive or members of PharmSoc should you have any issues! If you want to get involved with PharmSoc, do let us know. You are more than welcome to attend to our ocassional meetings and help us organise events (it will look good in your CV)! If you are selected to representing PharmSoc at the University of Brighton open days, you will be paid! Just keep an eye out for our next meeting in your emails and on this website! We'll be looking for new year representatives in the new academic year! Remember, this is run BY students FOR students; if there's something you want us to do, just send a message and we'll do our best!
