Brighton Physiotherapy

Brighton Physiotherapy Brighton Physiotherapy has a truly holistic approach to helping you completely recover from your condition. We start with the symptom of course.

But that's just the start as we treat your whole body to ensure a complete recovery. In 2012 Jamie Webb moved to Brighton for love. He wanted to move down to the beautiful south coast to be with his now wife. They now have a baby daughter together who keeps them both honest. Jamie would be happy chilling out on the beach all year. However, he realised this wouldn't be possible without same cash in the bank. So he set up Brighton Sports Therapy. The second of our 3 clinics. Jamie had initially set up his Swindon practice upon qualifying as a Sports Therapist back in 2004. He looked at the what he had been taught and knew it wasn't enough. He look at what other people had tried to teach him and didn't believe quite a lot of it. He quickly realised that the traditional physiotherapy practice of passing people off with a few exercises simply didn't work. 75% of people don't do the exercises. Of the 25% that do you have to wait 6 weeks to see if they did anything. As someone who got into the industry out of his own interest in his injuries this wasn't good enough. Jamie decided a hands on approach to physiotherapy practices, coupled with sports massage and then maybe some exercises to compliment this was the way forward. To see an immediate change in symptoms. Much more satisfying the therapist and client. His journey since 2004 has lead him to the boundaries of the subject to find ever better ways to make people feel better. Quicker and longer lasting. Incorporating all available physiotherapy and sports massage techniques with a wider understanding of the human body and how it's all connected. Both physically and emotionally. He has found some allies along the way. Mark Gilmore an experienced physiotherapist who learned the hard way. Breaking himself physically and burning himself out doing physiotherapy the old fashioned way. After some time out in India and a whole new approach to physiotherapy Mark is invigorating and loving fixing people. He's known around the clinic as Zen. If he's panicking we all should!
