Today we said goodbye to two truly valued members of our hospital, Peter Larsen-Disney and his medical secretary Gill, as they retire from Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital.

Thank you both for your dedication, hard work, and the care and support you have given to so many patients and colleagues over the years. Your contributions have made a lasting impact, and you will both be greatly missed.

Another busy week for us at Nuffield Health Brighton out in the community ⭐
We visited The Hawthorns Retirement Village in Eastbourne with Mr Andrew Skyrme, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, who delivered an informative talk to residents and the local community on a guide to hip and knee surgery. It was fantastic to see such strong engagement.
We also attended the Active for Life community event at Moulsecoomb
Leisure Centre, helping to spread brand awareness, connect with the local community, and build some great new relationships through networking.
A rewarding week of education, engagement, and community outreach. Thank you to everyone involved. 💙

Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting Little Stars Nursery to host a pop-up health event for staff and parents. It was lovely to meet so many people, share health and wellbeing advice, and support families and nursery staff with informal chats and guidance.

If you’re finding it difficult to get a GP appointment, our Private GP service at Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital may help. Dr Richard Webb offers 30 minute consultations on Tuesdays and Fridays, with same day appointments available. Patients do not need to be registered with an NHS GP, and because the service is based within the hospital, access to investigations and specialist referrals can often be arranged quickly if needed.
