💗Today we were delighted to be out at Hillbrow Health and Wellbeing with the amazing Dr Olivia Hum, GP & Menopause Specialist.

Dr Hum delivered a fantastic talk on everything you need to know about menopause and perimenopause, sharing expert advice and answering questions from an engaged audience.

💪🌍 September Strength Challenge! 🌍💪

This month, we’re celebrating both World Physiotherapy Day and National Fitness Day — and what better way to mark it than with a challenge that highlights the importance of strength training?

Our amazing Physio and Health Screening Team are taking on a bold goal: over the month of September, they’ll attempt to collectively lift the weight of the Brighton i360 — that’s a massive 94 tonnes (94,000kg)! 😮

That works out to roughly 300kg per person, per day — a true test of strength, consistency, and teamwork.

This challenge is all about raising awareness of how vital strength training is for overall health, injury prevention, and long-term wellbeing. 💥

🌟 Wow, what a week at Nuffield Health Brighton! 🌟

We’ve had a rollercoaster of highs and lows, but above all, it’s been a week full of celebration, gratitude, and team spirit.

🎉 We marked 30 years of Nuffield Health Brighton with a big thank you to our incredible team — SLT organised for everyone to enjoy an ice cream van and a pizza van, and it was amazing to see so many smiley faces enjoying the sunshine and each other’s company.

🎂 Our brilliant Hospital Support Admin turned 30 — happy birthday and thank you for all that you do!

👏 We celebrated the promotion of our fantastic Jayne, who has stepped into the role of Business Admin Manager. Jayne has been with us since 2019 and continues to inspire us with her dedication and positivity. Huge congratulations!

🚨 Clinical Milestone Alert! 🩺💧

On Monday, Mr. Ruairidh Crawford, Consultant Urologist, successfully completed his first Aquablation® therapy cases — and both went very smoothly! 👏👏

Aquablation® is a minimally invasive procedure that uses a heat-free waterjet to remove excess prostate tissue, helping relieve urinary symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) — a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate. 🌊🧠

A huge congratulations to Mr. Crawford on this achievement — advancing patient care with precision and innovation! 🙌
