“I had been suffering silently with TMJ (jaw) pain for some time. After just 1 treatment with Paula I could not believe how much my symptoms had decreased, I was seriously amazed. After 4 treatments my symptoms have practically vanished and I can bite into an apple with ease!”

Great feedback from my lovely client after receiving this specialist treatment. I’m seeing an increasing number of clients suffering with this type of chronic pain who cannot find relief elsewhere.

TMJ symptoms include jaw cracking, Trismus (difficulty opening mouth), dizzy spells, headaches/migraines, face pain, tinnitus, ear aches (without infection), teeth clenching and Bruxism (teeth grinding), tooth pain and chronic neck and shoulder pain.

During your session I’ll work all the muscles and fascia of the face, head, neck and shoulders, including the inside of the mouth. In addition, I use hot stones to help aid relaxation and soothe the nervous system.

Suffering with stiff neck and shoulders? When treating this area the pectorals are often overlooked which is such a missed opportunity. We spend a lot of time folding forward in our upper chest area looking at screens. Here I’m gently applying a pin and stretch technique. As an Advanced Clinical Massage therapist I have undertaken extensive further training which has equipped me with a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and pathologies.

Deep tissue is just one of the techniques that I use in my treatments. Others include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, hot/cold stone therapy, Amma fusion, acupressure and sports massage techniques.

I regularly treat clients suffering with conditions such as frozen shoulder, TMJ, migraine, sciatica, plantar faciitis, and many more. My training and experience means I know which techniques are most effective in treating these conditions.

Looking to enhance my understanding I’ve just qualified as a Mental Health First Aider. Really informative course which equips me to act as a point of contact and reassurance for someone who is experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress.
