Sitting cross legged or in Baddha padmasana at the end of your practice is the perfect opportunity to focus on your breath. The asana practice is over and you’re about to lay down in Savasana to rest. We’re so grateful for this time of reflection, release and happiness. We hope you enjoy this time of sitting too. See you in class this week.

This tricky posture at the end of every practice whether advanced or beginner, is to create flexibility and strength throughout both sides of your body. This is a lifetime pursuit for many. If you’re new to Brighton or looking for Astanga yoga classes then this is the sign you’re looking for! You can find us 5 mins walk from Brighton station, just down from Seven dials or at Preston circus, depending on which direction you’re coming from

When you’ve found Vantage point make sure you’re at the entrance with this sign above your head. Hit 55🔔 on the keypad then come up to the third floor. All evening classes are drop in, where you pay in person either with cash or card. All morning classes a must be paid online via our website

We are Astanga Yoga Brighton. We hold traditional daily Mysore, Led classes and Beginners courses at Brighton Natural Health Centre. We’re passionate about the practice, the lineage and the healing power of daily yoga.

Sarah is currently the only woman in the UK to have run a Mysore programme for over a decade and she continues to visit Sharath in Mysore on a regular basis. She feels constantly amazed and inspired by this healing practice. Her intention is to create a safe, nurturing and trusting environment that is comfortable and accessible to all.

Kathryn has been studying and practising Astanga Yoga for many years. She studies daily under the guidance of her teacher Sarah Miles. She loves teaching Astanga yoga and being part of Astanga Yoga Brighton. You will find her most evenings leading classes in a warm, safe and friendly environment.
