“I really want to lose weight, but…”

July 2025: “I really want to lose weight, but there’s no point in starting now - I’m going on holiday in 2 weeks”
August 2025: “I still want to lose weight, but I’ll just wait until the schools go back”
September 2025: “ Maybe it’s time to join, but I’ve got two nights out this month so I’ll wait until next month”
October 2025: “Right this month I’m going to start… but Halloween is coming up so I know there will be loads of sweets. I’ll get that out the way first. “
November 2025: “I’m feeling really low, I really really want to lose weight. But I better save my money for Christmas.”
December 2025: “There’s absolutely no point joining in December I’ve got far too many nights out.”
January 2026: “Slimming World will be mobbed just now with it being a brand new year. I’ll just wait until next month.”
February 2026: “I wished I’d joined 6 months ago. If I lost 1.5lb per week I would have been over 3 stones lighter by now. “
