On Thursday 14th May, the practice will be closed for staff training. Our phone lines will be open from 08:30AM-12:00 and 4:30PM-06:30PM. A triaging GP will be reviewing any concerns submitted through the e‑consultation system during the morning.

A Little Help to Keep Our Phones & Appointments Running Smoothly!
Mondays are always our busiest day of the week (or the day after a bank holiday), with a high number of calls and appointment requests coming through our e-consult system Klinik. To help us support everyone as efficiently as possible, we kindly ask that routine or non-urgent queries be sent to us Tuesday–Friday whenever possible.
This helps our team focus on urgent needs on Mondays and ensures you get a quicker response for routine matters later in the week.
Thank you so much for your support and understanding — it really makes a difference 💙

Every blood type is special, with every donation helping to save lives in different ways.

Here's a handy chart to show which donation might suit your blood type best. This accounts for how common it is, and the demand for specific treatments from hospitals.

Of course, what you donate will depend on where you live, what works with your routine, and if your veins are suitable (for platelet and plasma donation).

Remember:

💙 You can GIVE PLASMA at select locations - currently Birmingham, Reading and Twickenham.

HRTea and Biscuits is coming back this Summer!
Are you experiencing symptoms of menopause or perimenopause?
Join us for a friendly, informative Menopause Education Session right here at your GP surgery.
At Nightingale Valley Practice we are in the process of addressing this by running menopause education session, called HRT and Biscuits.

Our aim is to give women up to date, accurate, evidence based information about the menopause and the various options available for menopause care.

Our sessions cover the definition of menopause, symptoms, treatment options, myth busting and explaining hormone replacement therapy use and its health benefits.

We hope to empower women to make informed decisions about their care during what can be a difficult time for many.
