🫵🫵At Nightingale Valley practice, we are considering extending our geographical boundary to include new housing developments and nearby areas currently outside our registration zone.
This change would allow us to:
▪️Support the growing local population
▪️Provide GP services to residents of new housing areas
▪️Strengthen the long-term sustainability of the practice by increasing patient numbers which brings extra funding with which we can improve the range and quality of services
▪️Allow us to ensure full and consistent Monday-Friday opening times of Riverside surgery, with the benefit of the excellent parking facilities and local amenities.

We would like to reassure you that we will meet any additional demand with extra staffing where needed, and the change will not impact the provision of care to existing patients, who are our top priority.

🗣🗣We want to hear from our current patients on these proposals. Please follow the link to take part in our patient survey

You may be worried about the new e-consultation system coming 29th September.

Here is a video to support you to use the system!

🗣🗣Online Consultation Update🗣🗣

We have limited the number of e-consultations that can be submitted via our current online access system today and for the rest of the week to help with a smooth transition to our new e-consultation system on Monday 29th September.

Considerable work has gone into this change and in the last days before the switch we will be focusing on a safe transition and endusre all requests we currently have, are reviewed and processed accurately prior to the move to Klinik.

Because of this, it is requested that if you have a non-medically urgent request, this is submitted next week when the new system is live, to allow for all medically urgent requests to be dealt with before the transition.

If your request is medically urgent, please submit your e-consultation as early in the day as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this transition to Klinik.

💙 Your feedback matters!
The practice participate in the Friends and Family Test questionnaire because hearing your views is essential to improving the care and services we provide.

✅ Every response helps us understand what we’re doing well and where we can make things even better.

📲 The questionnaire is quick and simple — it’s sent straight to you via text 24 hours after your appointment.

💬 Share your thoughts by filling in the questionnaire after your next visit – together, we can make a difference.

🗣🗣 From 29th September we will be using a new e-consultation system!🗣🗣

The way you submit your medical and admin requests to us is changing. We are moving to a new online consultation tool called Klinik. You will need to use this new system to submit your requests from 8.00am on Monday 29th September.
◼️How to access it
You will still use our website and click on the ‘Contact us’ link at the top of the page. The system will look different from the old one (Accurx), and it will ask you for a bit more information. This helps us direct you to the right service straight away.
◼️What you can use it for
You can send us all types of requests through Klinik, including:
▪️Medical concerns
▪️Nursing appointments (blood tests, ECGs, etc.)
▪️Non-medical (admin) requests
Please note: requests for GP appointments will close once we reach capacity for the day. However, nursing appointments and non-clinical requests will always remain open.
◼️No more paper forms
We will no longer accept paper e-consult forms. Instead, you can:
▪️Submit your request online yourself
▪️Call the practice – our reception team can complete the form for you if you are unable to use the system yourself
▪️Visit the practice – you can use an iPad to submit your request, or our reception team can show you how to do it on your own device
◼️Helping patients use Klinik
Our priority is to support patients in learning how to use the system themselves. Reception staff will only complete requests on behalf of patients who:
▪️If you find reading and writing difficult
▪️If you do not have access to the internet, or struggle using it
▪️If you have a language barrier
▪️If you have a disability
▪️If you are in mental health crisis
▪️If you are neurodivergent
❗️Our phone lines are reserved for supporting these patients. If you call for help, we will first guide you through how to submit your own request on your device, or invite you to the practice so we can show you in person.

We are currently experiencing problems with our phone lines, and calls may not be getting through. Our team is working with our service provider to resolve this as quickly as possible.

If you need to contact us urgently, please come to the Front Desk at Brooklea Health Centre, where reception will be happy to help you.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we get this fixed.
