This might sound crazy but a hater will talk about you more than anyone else.

Do you know how many followers haters can get you, lurking at your posts and sharing them.

I know the thought of it feels horrible, but someone’s opinion of you isn’t your business or the truth about who you are or what you do.

What the haters don’t realise is they’re spreading the word about your business, regardless if they are being negative, it’s going to bring more eyes on your page, more engagement and more attention to what you do!

So what if they’re going to laugh at you, they’re laughing at you for being brave, ambitious and different. Which is actually really weird for them.

You can laugh at them for being the same as everyone else. Or ignore them, that’s probably better.

So when you’re scared about judgement from posting, showing your face or talking on a voice over.

Remember haters are your marketing team. Let them work. 🎤 💥

Stop fitting hair extensions on clients that have super fine and damaged hair!

Most of my in-salon work comes from re-doing other stylists clients, usually bad hair extensions that don’t belong in thin hair!

Imposter syndrome is unfortunately louder than talent.
Louder than progress.
And louder than the truth.

I recorded a podcast recently and I STILL had not listened to it. I convinced myself it would be awful. I told myself I wasn’t a good speaker, I wasn’t clear enough, I wasn’t confident enough.

Then a new student enrolled.
And she said the podcast is what made her choose me.

The episode I was scared to listen to…
was the very thing that inspired her to join.

This is your reminder that your work doesn’t need to be perfect to make an impact. It just needs to be seen.

If you’re struggling with imposter syndrome, here’s what I want you to remember:
• Don’t trust your negative thoughts
• Confidence grows through action, not hiding
• Someone will see value in things you think you’re “bad” at
• Do it scared, that’s where growth happens!

You’re capable of more than your mind lets you believe.

Pay cheap pay twice ❌ (that before and after at the end omg!!)

It’s the old age saying that’s still never wrong.

When I say cheap, a mesh integration course less than £1000 is considered cheap. I know that is still a substantial amount but in terms of investing and learning a premium skill that’s pays you back in tenfold (if taught correctly) under £1000 is cheap.

8 years ago I paid £2000 for a 1 day course on a dolls head and a tiny 30 page manual 🤯

Thing with me, is I’m a relentless human being. So although I struggled with hair lines, slipping, bulkiness, support and technique after I trained I made it my mission to become amazing at mesh integrations (excuse me whilst I toot my own horn 📯toot toot).
