POV: the version of “success” everyone pushes… actually burnt you out 😅
I closed my fully booked £100K salon… and it was the BEST decision I ever made 🤍
From the outside, it looked successful 👇
✨ Busy diary
✨ Awards
✨ Team
✨ Money
But behind the scenes?
I was exhausted 😭
Not because I didn’t love hair…
But because running a salon is a COMPLETELY different job to actually being the stylist/specialist you trained to be 🥲
The staff stress.
The pressure.
The admin.
The constant mental load.
Feeling like you could never fully switch off 💭
And I know so many people in this industry quietly feel the same.
We’re taught that success means:
➡️ Open a salon
➡️ Build a team
➡️ Keep scaling
But what if that version of success doesn’t actually suit you? 👀
Closing my salon didn’t mean I failed.
It meant I stopped forcing myself into a business model that no longer aligned with the life I wanted ✨
And honestly… the relief I felt afterwards told me EVERYTHING 🫶
That decision gave me my freedom back 🤍
Now I get to focus on hair loss work, education, and building a business on MY terms ✨
So if something in your gut is telling you the “next step” isn’t right for you…
Trust it 💭
Success is allowed to look different for everyone 🤍
If this resonated with you, I’d genuinely love to hear your experience
