There are still a lot of assumptions about care, and many families tell us these myths are what stop them from starting a conversation sooner.
Care does not have to mean losing independence.
It is not only for later stages.
And it does not have to feel rushed or clinical.
When care is done well, it fits around everyday life. It can be companionship led, flexible and focused on helping people keep doing the things that matter to them. Sometimes, clearing up a few myths is all it takes to see support in a very different way.
