I am offering 1:1 and small groups lessons at the moment in lower Wye Valley area.
I have been fortunate to study with ShenJin for the last 3 or 4 years and continuing the training in May with Buqi training - the healing modality at the core of the Tajiwuxigong tradition.

Feeling overwhelmed? Here are three simple resilience exercises you can try today, to help reduce overwhelm and build emotional stamina.
1) Ground-and-Name (for rumination): Pause, plant your feet, take three slow breaths and name three sensations — e.g., “warmth in my hands, feet on the floor, steady breath.” Clinically, grounding shifts attention from repetitive thoughts into present-moment, interrupting the rumination loop.
2) The Pause-and-List (for short temper): When irritation rises, take a 30-second pause and list two possible responses and their likely outcomes. This brief gap helps you engage the prefrontal cortex and choose a calmer action.
3) Micro-Recovery Ritual (for burnout): Schedule two 5-minute recovery rituals into your day — gentle stretching, a tea break without screens, or breathing at a window. These tiny, regular resets lower stress hormones and rebuild capacity over time.
These are practical, evidence-informed 1st Aid exercises I use to teach in my resilience workshops.
