Monday morning movement ❤
Found my little space this morning, with my cup of tea, the sun was shining, listening to the birds singing to moving my body, it was bliss.
Although I know it helps me, I don't get on my mat everyday, I try to install this message to my lovely clients is that part of helping yourself is the flexibility and compassion that you may not do something all of the time, even when you know it helps you and that's more than okay. It's about using what helps you when you notice needing it that's really important, and even then sometimes that doesn't always happen, part of the compassionate work is to cut yourself some slack.
Part of my work is helping others to understand the philosophy of yoga. That you don't need to be on a mat everyday to practice yoga, you can take a few moments to connect to your breath, or sit and notice how your body is feeling today, or even practice self-compassion all of which are yoga.
So maybe, just maybe you are already doing more than you give yourself credit for 😍
