Health is both an inside out and an outside in process. I’ve learned so much about the body and how to take care of it from the outside, but am still constantly humbled by the impact that our habitual thoughts and the information that we allow to influence us has.
I’ve learned that I need to meditate. I need to spend time in nature. I need to reflect. I need to watch the kinds of things I pay attention to. And that these things are as essential as how much water I’m drinking or my daily step count.
The message being that our mental and energetic intake is as important as anything else.
