What would your responsibilities be? We're seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You’ll ensure high-quality care, safeguard young people, and manage staff, budgets, and day-to-day operations.
Key Duties:
Ensure safe, nurturing environment
Lead and support staff team
Manage care plans, compliance & home operations
Work with external agencies & families
Requirements? 2+ years’ experience managing a children’s home, supporting people with complex needs in a supervisory of teams capacity. Strong leadership & safeguarding knowledge. Level 5 Diploma (or working towards)

Position – Senior Residential Support Worker
What’s in it for you? £36,000 p.a
Where you’ll be doing it – Near Tewksbury, Gloucestershire

Your hours – Days and sleep-ins on a rota pattern
Who would you be working for – This home supports adolescents who have encountered adversity, including emotional distress, behavioural issues, or disruptive life events. It’s a transition home with ages 14 to 23 years. They are committed to making a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in our communities. With your support, they can help every child and young person reach beyond their circumstances and discover what’s truly possible. You will focus on trauma-informed care that recognises each individual’s story, strengths, and needs.
What would your responsibilities be? As a Senior Support Worker, you will take the lead in supervising and mentoring a dedicated team of care workers, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently met while safeguarding the wellbeing of young people. You will play an integral part in planning and delivering individualised support plans, offering consistent emotional, social, and behavioural guidance. Working closely with management and therapeutic teams, you will contribute to the holistic care of each young person, supporting their journey toward independence and growth. Additionally, you will maintain accurate care documentation, monitor progress, and assist in staff development, ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of the team.
Requirements? We are looking for a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential) and at least 2 years’ care experience (preferred). You must be emotionally resilient, committed to safeguarding, and capable of leading and mentoring staff. Strong organisational and written skills are required, along with a UK manual driving licence and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins.
Additional skills, such as creativity or knowledge of OFSTED/CQC standards, are a plus. You must have the right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS (company funded), be 21 or older, and willing to work a varied shift pattern.

They take considerable pride in looking after not only the vulnerable children and young people in their care but also their staff. You will receive on-going training to help you deliver high levels of support such as Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Team Teach, CSE and play therapies.
What would your responsibilities be? I have multiple positions available for Senior Support Workers to assist the Manager and Deputy with the smooth running of the home and promoting a caring environment. Duties include being a shift leader and ensuring staff are aware of their responsibilities, logging of all incidences, being the liaison for external professionals, promoting child safeguarding, developing trusting relations with those in your care and the staff you supervise, ensuring home policies are up to date and followed and making and accompanying young people to appointments with report writing follow up, to name but a few
