Our trip to Aerospace Bristol -Concorde was fantastic ✈️
We had such a great time exploring, taking in the incredible engines and all the different forms of transportation—and of course, seeing Concorde up close!
Everyone who came said it was a brilliant day, but it was especially meaningful for our very own Roy. Roy was one of the engineers who helped build the compressor blades for Concorde’s engine. He shared that the engines were built in three parts, and he’d never actually seen one fully assembled before—until now.
In his words: “Thank you, it was the best day. You have put an end to my story.” ❤️
A truly special day we won’t forget.

We made the most of the beautiful sunny weather at the end of last week, going for a lovely stroll along Clifton Downs.
Finding the perfect bench to sit and look at the fantastic views of the Suspension Bridge while enjoying an ice cream 🍦 it was delicious 😋

From Buckingham Palace to Badminton Place…

Head Chef Mark brings an incredible culinary background to our home, having worked in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens - including The Goring, the House of Commons, and even Buckingham Palace, where he helped cook for Her Majesty The Queen and world leaders 🌟

Today, Mark channels that experience into creating delicious, nutritious meals for our residents - using seasonal ingredients and plenty of care ❤️

His favourite dish? Venison Wellington with scallops and bacon… a true showstopper!

For Mark, it’s all about the smiles in the dining room and knowing his food brings comfort and joy every single day 😊

What an egg-cellent Easter weekend we’ve had! 🐣🌸
On Good Friday we kicked things off with fantastic entertainment with Ken Trowbridge performing his ‘Farewell Tour’ bringing everyone together with smiles, laughter, singing and dancing to hits from 60s, 70s & 80s.

On Easter Sunday, our lovely Easter Bunnies paid a special visit, handing out Easter eggs to all our wonderful residents and staff – such a joy to see! 🐰🍫
The fun didn’t stop there… we enjoyed Easter bingo, games, and even a cosy cinema showing of Easter Parade 🎬
A truly special weekend filled with happiness, community spirit, and plenty of sweet treats 💛

This morning at Badminton Place has been one of those moments you wish you could bottle up ☀️🌿

The gardens are looking absolutely beautiful, with spring in full bloom and the sunshine casting everything in that warm, golden light. After a wonderful Easter weekend enjoyed by all, it feels like the perfect start to the week - peaceful, uplifting, and full of life.

Our outdoor spaces are such an important part of daily life here. Whether it’s a gentle morning stroll, enjoying a coffee in the fresh air, or simply taking a moment to sit and soak it all in, the gardens offer a real sense of calm, connection, and wellbeing.

We’re proud to be supporting something very special within our Badminton Place community 💙

Liz, the daughter of one of our residents, will be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon this April - raising funds and awareness for the incredible work of St. Peter's Hospice.

Liz is the only runner in this year’s event representing St Peter's Hospice , a charity that holds deep personal meaning for her. Having experienced first-hand the compassionate care and support they provide to individuals and families, this challenge is her way of giving something back.

We wanted to share Liz’s story with our wider community and show our support as she prepares for this amazing achievement. If you’re able to, any donation - big or small - would be hugely appreciated and will go towards helping St Peter’s Hospice continue their vital work.

With a background in high-end kitchens across the UK and Europe - including Michelin-recognised restaurants - Kieran has built his career around quality, precision and teamwork. Since joining us, he’s carried that same commitment into everything he does, always going the extra mile for both residents and colleagues.

Known for his reliability and positive attitude, Kieran plays a big part in the warm, supportive environment we’re so proud of here. It’s no surprise he’s been recognised across the Berkley group with this fantastic award 👏

Outside of work, he keeps just as busy - taking on half marathons and enjoying sports like golf, tennis and cricket 🏃‍♂️

With Easter just around the corner, our talented team of chefs have been busy whipping up a batch of beautifully tasty bunny biscuits and sweet treats - and we think they might be dropping a few not-so-subtle hints that the celebrations are on their way!

From hand-crafted cookies to delicious cakes, there’s been plenty to make residents smile (and maybe indulge in a little taste test or two… purely for quality control, of course 😉).
