Hillcrest Primary School and Mangotsfield School are among the local schools to have taken part in previous years, helping pupils see their artwork displayed in major galleries including The Saatchi Gallery in London and The Henry Moore Institute in Leeds.

Open to pupils in Years 5 and 9, Art Bytes combines a national competition with a virtual gallery and regional celebration events across England – inspiring young artists and giving them a real platform for their creativity.

Schools can register until 31 December, with artwork submissions due by February half term 2026.
