💉 Flu Vaccination Campaign 2025 💉

We’re pleased to announce our large flu vaccination clinic will be held at:

You’ll soon receive a text message from us with a self-booking link – making it quick and easy to book your flu jab. ✅

By booking with us, you’re helping to support your local GP practice and the services we provide for our community.

👉 If you can’t make the clinic on 1st October, don’t worry – just give the surgery a call and we’ll arrange another appointment for you at one of our other clinics.

NHS Cervical Screening Programme – Digital results launching September 2025

From September 2025, the NHS plans to start sending results from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme, utilising the NHS App.

In September, those who have a negative test result will be notified of this by an NHS App message. It will also appear as an NHS App notification. If the NHS App message isn’t read within 72 hours, a letter will be sent as a failsafe.

Abnormal result letters will continue to be delivered by post for the time being.

This change follows the successful rollout of digital invitations and reminders in June 2025, where since the launch, 9 out of every 10 invitations are being sent digitally, with the remainder being sent by post.

We are expecting our phones to be busier than normal tomorrow (26/8/25) and possibly the rest of the week due to the bank holiday weekend. Please bear with us while our Care Navigation Team deal with on the day demand. If you have a routine problem/query our online platform patient triage will be available from 07:30AM tomorrow morning via our website https://thelennardsurgery.co.uk/

Your local pharmacist can deal with many minor ailments and discuss what medication is safe to take with any current medication you are taking. If you contact the surgery with a minor ailment our Care Navigation Team can refer you to a pharmacy for a consultation.

During the time we are closed, should you require medical assistance, you can access NHS 111 online, contact 111 by telephone or if you have a life threatening illness or injury call 999. Your local pharmacy can also advise on any minor ailments.

Yate and Clevedon Minor Injury Units and South Bristol Urgent Treatment Centre are open this bank holiday weekend to treat adults and children – no appointment needed.

They can help with injuries including:

✔️ Minor head injuries
