Today our Support Office turned bright pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month - a cause that touches so many lives. From pink outfits and accessories to sweet treats and smiles, the team came together to raise awareness, show solidarity, and support those affected by breast cancer 🌸

🎱 Chawley Grove Care Home turned up the excitement with a lively bingo session - always a resident favourite!

💃 Cofton Park Manor Care Home celebrated Diwali - the Festival of Light - with an incredible performance from Amarjit and Nicole of the Haripa Dance Group🌟

🌺 Edwalton Manor Care Home Edwalton Manor residents created stunning poppy fields while reflecting on remembrance and creativity ❤️

🐾 Elstow Manor Care Home welcomed wagging tails and big smiles for their 2nd Annual Dog Show! 🐕🏅

🎨 Alston House Care Home proudly hosted the Art Tapestry Exhibition, opened by the Mayor and Mayoress. Residents, students, and community members showcased stunning artwork inspired by dementia and mental health 👏

🌟 Celebrating Jean Osbourne: A Bowls Legend Honoured at Richmond Manor Care Home 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to Bedford Today for featuring the inspiring story of Jean Osbourne, a 92-year-old former President of Ampthill Bowls Club, who recently presented a trophy plate named in her honour to the finalists of the Ladies Two-Wood Singles Competition. The ceremony took place at Richmond Manor Care Home, where Jean continues to inspire with her lifelong passion for bowls.

We are proud to support Jean and celebrate her remarkable legacy in the sport. Thank you for helping us share this special moment with the community.

We had a lovely seasonal outing to Almondsbury Garden centre, where the air was filled with Halloween tricks and treats & beautiful displays of Christmas decorations. We enjoyed strolling around the eye catching displays and looking at the seasonal bedding plants. Then of course we all went to relax in the café to enjoy a lovely warm cup of tea and a delicious slice of cake 🥰

This morning we welcomed Vicky's Mum 'Kath' to help us crochet and knit poppies 🧶, she guided us through the technique and encouraged us throughout the session helping us create beautiful individual poppies to sell and use for our Remembrance Sunday display 🌺 Thank you Kath for joining us and for all of your help 🥰

🌟 Celebrity Fun at Alston House Care Home 🌟

We loved seeing this story featured in the Daily Echo! Alston House Care Home in Eastleigh recently hosted a Stars in Their Eyes-themed evening, with staff dressing up as celebrity lookalikes for a night full of music, laughter, and fundraising.

Thanks to everyone who joined in, They raised a total of £330 for The Sophie Barringer Trust.

🎬 Abbots Wood Manor Care Home hosted their own Film Festival after resident Pat requested The Color Purple - complete with red carpet, fizz, and fabulous outfits!

🌷 Cofton Park Manor Care Home enjoyed a trip to Willowbrook Garden Centre - exploring spooky Halloween displays and picking beautiful plants.

🎤 Cambridge Grove Care Home danced the afternoon away with the wonderful Simon, aka Sunset Magic - always a crowd favourite!

💍 Lovell Place Care Home - LOVE was truly in the air as Richard and June celebrated 65 years of marriage! From a royal card from King Charles & Camilla, to cake, to a surprise wedding blessing in the very church they wed in, the day was nothing short of magical.

🚘 Alston House Care Home - Our Around the World: Tennessee Day brought an American classic to our door - a stunning 1958 Cadillac Coupe DeVille!

🌸 Chawley Grove Care Home - Had a pumpkin flower workshop that wowed residents!

☀️ Hindhead Place Care Home - Residents made the most of the sunshine with scenic walks - and a pocketful of dog treats to make new furry friends along the way!

🍽️ Cambridge Grove Care Home - Residents Bob and Felicity enjoyed a seniors’ lunch hosted by the Cambridge United Foundation, complete with delicious food, bingo, and activities.

🏌️ Montague House Care Home - Generations came together for golfing fun (and plenty of cake!) at Brampton Park Golf Club.

🛍️ Nesbit House Care Home - A trip to Polhill Garden Centre meant shopping, coffee, and an early peek at the Halloween treats!

🏆 Newton House Care Home - Huge congratulations to Team Newton, who returned from the Sporting Senior Games award ceremony with two bronze medals and a trophy! The smiles said it all - what a celebration of community, fun, and wellbeing.

🐴 Verwood House Care Home - Residents loved their visit to Hockey's Farm Shop, where animals big and small brought back fond memories - with relatives joining the fun too.

LOVE was truly in the air today at Lovell Place 💕 - Our delightful residents Richard And June celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with us - They were amazed to receive a card of good wishes and congratulations from King Charles & Camilla, followed by a celebratory cake surprise at lunchtime, then the ultimate surprise - a trip back to the church they got married in 65 years ago 😍, Lifestyle and Wellbeing Lead Vicky Green organised along with the family and the church in secret (Richard knew) so that a regular 'outing' was transformed into a surprise wedding blessing in their magical place 🥰 - 'Thank you so much for the best day of our lives' said June.

Wear It Pink is one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, bringing people together across the country to raise money during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From workplaces and schools to communities and care homes, thousands will be wearing pink to show their support. 💕

Every donation helps fund life-changing breast cancer research and provides vital support for those affected. Together, we can make a real difference. 🌸

We are delighted to share that our Macmillan Coffee Morning at Lovell Place was a great success!
Freshly baked cakes 🍰 were enjoyed alongside delicious hot drinks ☕, Residents and guests had lots of fun taking part in our cake, coffee and chocolate themed quiz.
Together, we raised an amazing total so far of £81.90 for Macmillan Cancer Support ✨
A BIG thank you to everyone who joined in and supported this wonderful cause - your generosity and enthusiasm made the morning event truly special 🥰

Join us at Lovell Place Care Home on Friday 26th September, 10.00am – 12.30pm for a relaxed and friendly coffee morning. Enjoy a delicious selection of home-baked cakes and freshly made coffees while supporting a wonderful cause. 💚

At 11.00am, we’ll be hosting a fun general knowledge quiz – with a prize for the winner! 🏆

All donations from the morning will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Watercolour floral bouquets 💐 were created by our talented residents - we spent time talking about our favourite flowers then dabbled with the watercolour paints creating our own mini masterpieces 🎨 a beautiful morning spending time together 🥰

A competitive board game afternoon was the activity yesterday afternoon with staff taking on our residents, A few hustlers were discovered 😉 and it was such a fun relaxed session ♟🎲

A morning outing to Highfield Garden Centre turned into a full on ladies shopping trip with the girls spending time looking through all of the beautiful clothes and some of us buying beautiful new tops to wear, of course this was followed by delicious tea and cake, then a wander around the aquatics section discussing how expensive the fish were compared to the clothes in the sale rail 🤣
