Being a counsellor and listening to other people’s problems can take a toll on my own well-being from time to time. There's not a day that goes by without hearing a story of someone taking their own life. If you know someone that is struggling with suicidal thoughts then encourage them to visit their GP, call the Samaritans on 116 123 or call Papyrus UK if they are aged under 35 on 0800 068 4141

Loss and grief can also hit us at times in our lives when we least expect it. Talking about it is the first step to deal with the meaning of our loss.
