The very first 6-week transformation plan went out on Friday - and to a very happy client!

L spotted my post on Monday, had her consultation on Wednesday, and by Friday her fully customised plan was ready to go - perfectly timed for a weekend food shop.

Today is Day 1 of her journey. Early adopters are always inspiring to work with!

Her goals?
- Boost energy levels
- Get back into home cooking (something that had recently slipped)
- Make healthy eating realistic around a demanding job that keeps her away from home

I tailored her plan to fit her time, her preferences, and even her medications. She also has a severe nut allergy, so my usual “go-to” recipes were off the table, making a personalised plan the safest and most effective choice.

L has committed to the next 6 weeks, with weekly check-ins to keep her accountable and supported. I can’t wait to see her progress unfold.

Decision fatigue is real!

I spend a lot of time with busy professionals, and I’ve seen first hand how sometimes making the small decisions can become impossible.

This is when deciding on what to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner can be a real drain on your energy! You know you want to fuel yourself well, but you just can’t decide what to eat! Sometimes even looking at a menu in a restaurant can feel like too much.

I get it, I’ve been there and it’s horrible - especially when you love food!!

So I’ve put together a 6 week transformation plan to help!

In this plan, I will give you a 6 week meal plan, with recipes. This isn’t another generic plan to follow, it will be made especially for you, by me, a registered nutritionist. I will take into account your likes/dislikes, time and equipment available, medications you take, and ultimately your transformation goal.

🎉 Flourish with Nutrition turns 4 today! 🎉

When I started this business four years ago, I could never have imagined the journey it would take me on. It’s been an incredible ride - full of opportunities I never thought possible, steep learning curves, and, most importantly, the privilege of meeting and working with some truly amazing people.

Every day, I get to help others feel like the very best version of themselves, and I’m so grateful that this is my life!

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Flourish. If the next four years are anything like the last, it’s going to be extraordinary.

I’ve always loved , right back to the Naked Chef days. But right now he’s taken things to another level!

I was just listening to him on Radio 2 with (also a huge fan of his since the Radio 1 days- innuendo bingo anyone??!), he was talking all about how healthy food doesn’t have to be boring or tasteless 🎉

As you can imagine, he’s talking my language! His new TV series on Monday night is fab! Science mixed with amazing food- this so everything I love!!

Jamie highlighted the need for more fibre in our diet, and what an impact it can have on our mood, productivity and motivation. Maybe he’s been to one of my presentations??!

I can highly recommend his program, loads of great ideas and some of the ‘why’ behind it all too!

I’m hoping his new book arrives in my house for my birthday next week (yes this is a hint Ben!!!) I can’t wait to see what delicious recipes he has in there!

I’m trying to keep Flourish and separate on here, but I wanted to share this update with you incase it was relevant and you weren’t following yet!!

We have a new website! And even better, you can now order single hampers - with free delivery to mainland UK!

What started out as a corporte gifting option, how now evolved due to lots of you asking for single hampers for gifts! You’ve asked, so we’ve delivered!

Of course, we will still be offering corporate gifting too, as well as our bespoke service, this is still fully available!

The new website is now live, it’s not perfect but it’s good to go. Hampers are stocked up and ready to be sent to the lucky recipients!

September! My favourite month!

Not only is it my birthday month (at what age do you stop getting excited about birthdays?!), but there’s something about September that feels like a reset. The pace of summer slows, routines return, and it’s a natural moment to check in with how we’re really feeling - in our health, energy, and work.

For me, September is about:
- Nourishing foods that support focus and calm as the seasons shift.
- Re-establishing routines that bring structure without stress.
- Re-energising workplace wellbeing - helping teams feel supported, productive, and motivated as we head into the final part of the year.

I love the sense of fresh possibility this month brings. It’s the perfect time to set intentions, take small steps for our health, and build momentum that carries us through the rest of the year.

I’ve got lots of exciting things happening over the next few weeks to share, including a big update coming soon! Follow over there for more to come on this!

Last week I spent the evening at hosting a cookery workshop for the team!

I know from experience how hard it can be to eat well in vet practice, so I went along to give the team so ideas and tips on how to keep themselves fuelled well during busy days!

There were plenty of samples to try, and recipes to take away. Even team members who didn’t like certain ingredients found that they did when they were used in the right way!

And after a busy day in practice, the least I could do is supply a wholesome dinner for them all. So I took along 3 home made curries for them to tuck into while we talked. A bit different to the soggy pizzas we used to have when I was nursing!!

The post event feedback has been amazing, with everyone keen for more of these sessions in the future! I’ve even been sent photos of my recipes being tried at home with their own families 🥰

I wish we had these type of sessions back when I was in practice, it would have made a big difference to my ability to handle days in theatre!

I had a terrible nights sleep last night, so have woken up today exhausted!

I had 2 choices- spend the day doing not a lot, eating lots of things that don’t serve me well (ie ultra-processed foods!) and go to bed feeling like the day had been written off.

Or I could get up, get moving and fuel myself with things to support my body.

I chose option 2!

I got up early, spend time with my chickens and dogs outside (morning sunlight to help me sleep better tonight), went off to the gym to do a heavy leg session, spent 20 minutes in a very hot steam room, had a lovely shower at the gym, came home and made brunch with veg from my garden and eggs from my chickens!

By taking some time to reset this morning, I’ll be a better mum, wife, person this afternoon. My head feels clearer, I’ve actually got more energy and I feel ready to enjoy an afternoon with my family.

We are faced with so many choices each day, and sometimes I make the wrong one, but today I think choosing to prioritise what makes me feel at my best was the right one!

(5 weeks into my gym journey and I’m not quite ready for a gym selfie yet!! So I’ll stay in my comfort zone and leave you with a motivational quote and a picture of my brunch instead 😂)
