Mental Health Awareness Week is a reminder that many of us - including children and young people - carry big emotions every day. Support really matters, and no one should feel they have to cope alone.
School pressures, friendships, work, routines and expectations can all feel overwhelming at times, and that's completely normal. What's important is knowing where to turn.
Please save and share these helplines so families know where to turn during Mental Health Awareness Week and beyond

One of the biggest wider determinants of health is having good housing (not damp, not at risk of being evicted etc) so we're sharing this important partner post with you.
Early Doors provide housing support services across Bristol. They run housing drop-in sessions in Hartcliffe every Friday from 10.00-12.00 at the Symes Resource Centre BS13 0BE. There is no need to book and no question too small, just turn up and speak to friendly independent advisors.
*Social Housing Drop-Ins
In addition to their open housing drop-ins, Early Doors also run Social Housing specific drop-ins, giving opportunities to speak to council representatives in-person. Departments represented can include repairs, rent management and anti-social behaviour, among others.
These are held at Resource Centre, Hartcliffe and are scheduled for the following dates:
- 11th June 2026
- 13th August 2026
- 8th October 2026
- 10th December 2026
Please share this post with anyone that might need their help.

With the bank holiday approaching, make sure you order your repeat prescription in good time to avoid any delays in getting your medicines.
GP practices and pharmacies may have different opening hours, so it’s best to plan ahead and not leave it until the last minute.
Find out how to order your repeat prescription here, including via the NHS App: https://nhs.uk/.../how-to-order-a-repeat-prescription/

Even as we go into spring, COVID-19 can be very dangerous for people with a weakened immune system.
If you’re eligible and aged over 12, you can get a COVID-19 vaccination without an appointment at a local walk-in clinic. See the list of April clinics below, or click the link in the comments.

You can also book an appointment at a local pharmacy by visiting nhs.uk/book-covid
