Two months ago, I wrote a little post about a walk around Bristol’s harbour side.

I had been intentionally living my actual life more and seeking out gentle mini-adventures to re-set my nervous system and find my personal magic again.

Whilst on the walk I was considering my business and I saw the work “packet” on a sign. I smiled to myself and asked “how do I make a packet?” And I instantly saw a boat with the word ENERGIE in huge painted letters along the side.

It got me thinking about weaving magic making walks into my work.

And as is my wont it took me a while but I have done it.

So the it’ll be an easy New Moon Harbour Wander on 17th April at 10am in Bristol.

My objective is to create a morning walk for magical humans (like you) who like to notice things

It won’t be fancy or too strenuous, just a bunch of humans walking, chatting, and seeing what magical signs the world throws at us when we actually slow down enough to notice.

I’d really love you to come if you can.

Bring the babes if you have them or dogs if they won’t distract you.

We’ll meet in the morning and take a slow loop around the harbour. Along the way we’ll:

* look out for signs, synchronicities, odd little winks from the universe
* chat about life, work, business, love, chaos whatever’s alive for you
* share stories, silly or serious
* move our bodies in a way that feels good
* maybe flex our intuitive muscles if the moment calls for it
* enjoy being outside with other humans who don’t mind being a bit weird

I’m hosting a free online gathering for humans who want a little pocket of time in their day to be fully themselves the sensible bits, the chaotic bits, the spiritual bits, the “I think I just got a download but I’m not sure if it was intuition or indigestion” bits.

For 1 hour and 45 minutes, we’re going to:

🫖 chat about life, work, business, and whatever else is swirling around

🫖 share stories the weirder the better please

🫖 offer each other advice if it feels right

🫖 talk about all things woo, mystical, intuitive, and delightfully strange

🫖 flex our intuitive muscles if we fancy it

🫖 be as weird, witchy, cosmic, grounded, or confused as we want, within reason of course

Just a cosy online space where you can exhale and be your whole self without anyone blinking.

Take a pause and stay awhile.

I said goodbye to a friend last month. He was 55 when he died.

We had been at Uni together and he was full of life. And joy. And wonderment. We shared some of the same ingredients I suppose. The world is alot right now. And we must not rush through our grieving processes.

If you’re grieving right, allow your grief the space she needs. Allow yourself time for rest. Your ancestors are calling for it. Don’t deny them of it. Or yourself.

The Circle ⭕️ Networking has its first 2026 gathering on Monday February 2nd 10am-12 at the Magnolia Mews in Frampton Cotterell.

It’s about 20min drive from Bristol City Centre.
There is parking outside, lush coffee & cakes and chill company.

All our events are seasonally sligned and we will be honoring the Celtic Calendar following the essence of 8 old festivals that honour the vibe of the natural world.

Many of our members collaborate, refer each other generously, form firm friendships and much more.

Although our offerings are networking event we tend the YOU within your business and not the nuts and bolts of what you do.

l've done it!! I've done it.
12 swims and dips for Cancer Research UK in December.
Today was the coldest water l've been in and it was EXHILARATING
And so many of you have helped me raise money.
I set a final target of £700 and I'm 92% of the way there.
If any of you can help me get to my target l'd be so very grateful.

What would Medieval Me be doing 100s years ago?

About 2 years ago I was deep in the anxiety soup that has come with post menopause and I found myself walking in a field near my home and I had a sort-of-vision. I had been asking lots of “what can I do about the state of the world” questions.

As I was walking I looked down at myself and I was wearing a brown wool dress, boots and an apron (not really my thing). I was also carrying a basket full of fire wood.

And I knew in an instant that this was my answer from another version of me hundreds of years back. Gather wood, make a fire and carry on. In other words be in your life. In the day-to-dayness of it all. It gave me great great comfort.

And ever since then I have travelled back to Medieval Me to ask her questions.

Of late I have also been learning about my own heritage and lineage of storytelling and healing.

So today I learned that my ancestors would make soul cakes (spiced and sweet like shortbread) and give them out to children and the poor during All Hallowtide. These cakes were made to honour the dead. These traditions were the pre-cursors to trick or treating. Children would travel from house to house singing for the souls of the dead and receive soul cakes in return.

My IG feed is now peppered with celtic stories of Samhain and old English traditions.

So in honour of my ancestors’ traditions I went all in. Made some today and ate 3 of them. I’m going to make more tomorrow. They’re well nice and my ancestors are delighted OBVS.
