Part of the divine feminine energy (which is in both women and men) involves us speaking our truth without putting others on the defensive.

First of all we need to know what our needs are, and if we are used to putting other people’s needs before our own this can be tricky.

In this case take some time out to tune into yourself to ask yourself what do you need from your partner or children....

Once you know what your needs are, you can communicate this clearly by for example saying to your partner I need you to clean up the kitchen in the evening after I have cooked dinner for all of us or I need x/y/z

Let me know your thoughts around this and if you try this too :)

The mystic or wild woman is one of the Freudian female archetypes. These archetypes can help us develop parts of ourselves which may be hidden, unexpressed or under expressed.

The wild woman, as the name implies is an untamed fierce individual who challenges the status quo. She is deeply connected to her intuition and knows what she wants.

To develop this more in yourself you can
⭐️ Spend some time alone

⭐️ Spend some time in nature and/or the wilderness

⭐️ Get to know yourself and your needs so you can set clear boundaries

⭐️ Practice speaking your truth with conviction

As with every archetype, there is a shadow side, which means that there can be negative associations with these qualities, particularly if taken to an extreme.

For the mystic or wild woman archetype, the shadow side could include destructive or unpredictable behaviour.

"Revolutions that last don’t happen from the top down. They happen from the bottom up."
Gloria Steinem

I’m referring to a social revolution in the way women are viewed and treated compared to men – in the home, in the work place, on the street in school and University and in the criminal justice system.

To me, the goal of this revolution is a more equal society which benefits women, and men as well as girls and boys.

Gloria Steinhem says revolutions happen from the bottom up.

I believe this too, as the vast majority of people holding most of the power are men in Government and the multi-national companies and some of them (if not the majority or all of them) could be unlikely to give this up easily as it directly benefits them.

I believe ordinary women and men need to rise up and fight for the kind of society we want, one where women are as safe as men from sexual harassment and assault when walking on the street or on a bus or a train, where women get treated with the same respect as men in the workplace and the home, where the media doesn’t show such fixed stereotypes of boys and girls and women are less judged on their looks and men are less judged on the size of their pay packet.
