Hello! I'm going to try and start up posts and shares again when I can.
Fortunately the clinics been very busy but had to share some recent tree stumps a patient this last week. Been suffering for months with hearing loss till they came to see me.

Whats that you say... well its a week old cotton bud!
The patient had used the infamous cotton bud and pushed too hard in which the end came off! They spent a week not able to hear out of the ear as a result until they could get in to see me.
Another friendly reminder they aren't the answer to resolve wax build up in your ears. Come and see me, even if just for a consultation 😊

Bit of a surreal week.....
Very grateful to my husband putting in the business shoutout and obviously Josh Widdecombe and Rob Beckett putting it out there.
I've been inundated and needless to say the clinic is fairly booked up through all of January.
I seem to have lots of little ones coming from all over the country, so much so I've got Saturday morn slots open now too 🙌
I do have to mention, the volume of messages/emails I've received for advice or more medical related issues, I can give guidance but you will need to see your GP's or book in for a consultation. I'm only a small part time business, working in the hospital and mum of three, so won't always get back to you immediately.
Regardless, thank you everyone for the support and look forward to meeting many new patients this year.

In amongst the family and Christmas chaos I didnt get to post anything. Struggle to get social media posts out but thats got to be a good thing as the clinic is so busy. First two weekends of January already full so do get booked in.
Huge thank you to customers old and new for another great year at Charlton Ear Care. Very grateful for all the support and really happy to be providing a service that helps people young and older maintain good hearing and ear health.
Hoping 2026 continues the same way for the business to lay foundations for the future growth plan of Charlton Ear Care.

12 year old patient came in the clinic with major ear ache and suffering with unilateral reduced hearing.
He came into the clinic and absolutely loved having the procedure performed and felt "1000x better" post treatment- swipe left to see why!
I am a fully qualified Peadiatric Audiologist so have all the qualifications amd skills to conduct these procedures on children.
If you have little ones struggling with wax in their ears, get booked in.

A Little Reminder for Our Lovely Patients 💚👂

Pre-appointment guidance is always given to use earwax softening drops throughout the week leading up to your visit. This simple step makes the removal process much quicker, easier, and more comfortable for you.

At Friday’s clinic, not one patient had used the drops. While I was still able to remove all the wax plugs, it meant having to use manual extraction tools instead of our water irrigation system, which is faster, gentler, and usually takes just seconds.

At the end of the day, everyone left relieved and hearing clearly — but please remember, following this advice is for your own benefit and the efficiency of the procedure.

Bit late for my own party but the start of this month was our 2nd year of being open! Big thank you to all my patients new and regular that have supported my little biz these last 2yrs and hopefully made a difference to people of all ages ear health. Exciting to see the potential future plans take shape going into the next year! 🍾🥂🎂💃

Been quiet on here due to how busy the clinics are + my usual hospital job and our family of 5 logistics its the first thing to take a hit but I do respond to every message I get reaching out for appointments. Now with the summer hols in full swing there are more home visit availability if people require.

Another busy weekend at the clinic.
Bit of an excavation today with this one so thought it was worth a share. Patient had been elsewhere previously and not given the best pre and post appointment advice.
Having a little chat at booking, following the suggestions we were able to get those tree stump like ear wax plugs straight out.
We talked about after care and the awareness of such a block will lead to some initial sensitivity to sounds. Needless to say he left very satisfied.
Even if the clinic is busy and booked weeks ahead, it’s worth waiting to see a qualified audiologist who can perform microsuction properly and provide expert pre- and post-care advice.

Had too many people suggest I need to jump on the trend, very entertaining bit of AI turning me and the job into an action toy. The ear plugs are bigger then the rest of the accessories 🤣.
Great stuff! The clinic is very busy these days which is fantastic but please be aware there is currently up to a two week wait for appointments, so dont delay if you want to be seen.
