This is a slightly rant-y thought and maybe unfair but, it really bugs me when I see courses for kinesiology taught fully online..
How can you possibly learn what it feels like to conduct a muscle test, to check your lymph pressure when you massage and to get the hours of practice in that are needed to be a good practitioner if you're sat at home watching it all on a screen with no one checking on you.
When I teach I am constantly watching what my students do, I am up on the tables getting people to check their muscles testing on me so I can feel it and be sure it feels precise and accurate. I check your lymph massage; I make sure you hold points in the right way, talk to your clients the right way. We INTERACT. All the time. I want my students to walk out of the classroom feeling 100% confident that they can go off and do this on their own and do it well.
If you've ever toyed with studying kinesiology online, DON'T. Learn with a qualified teacher in person so you can finish your course knowing you're at the best standard you can be at.
