Being patient with yourself in January was the right thing to do.

We’re not meant to make bold moves in mid winter. But tomorrow is Imbolc, halfway to spring 💛 and the perfect time to stop waiting and make this year the one where you make midlife changes that matter.

I used to wake up with my heart racing before I'd even gotten out of bed.

- There was no big moment where everything suddenly felt better. Just gradually... little things I started noticing.

"Ooh. I slept through."
"Oh. I didn't melt down about that."
"When did this get easier?"

REAL change in midlife is subtle and cumulative.

You build it by coming back to yourself again and again:

- Upgrading your diet a little bit more until your foundations are strong

- Making lifestyle 'edits' that nudge you back into regulation

I got here by going with what actually works for my body now - supporting my liver, regulating my blood sugar, giving my nervous system what it needs to settle.

I didn't know it was menopause or what it meant to actually 'look after
myself' - This is not a good combination!!

I didn't fuel properly. I put my needs last. I felt bloated
constantly and burned out.
My body kept saying no. And I kept pushing.

What made the most sense was that my whole body
was struggling. That nutrition wasn't about calories—it
was about supporting what my body needed at THIS
stage of life.

Now I work WITH my cycle of highs and lows, not
against it.
I support my liver, my hormones.
I'm energised, stronger than ever, and actually calm.
And I don't blame myself anymore when my body asks
for something different.

Thanks for such a lovely walk Sue! I am Calm Breathwork

It was so good to talk through our plans for the year and what FEELS important.

Running a business that predominantly supports women is such a lovely part of my life.

I love watching us evolve, adapt and make bold moves as well as the little ones that keep us nudging forward with our health and wellbeing.

New Year doesn’t have to be about big moves, it can be about doing 1% more to take better care of yourself. It’s about moving just that little bit, especially when you feel you’ve been stuck for a long time.

Not "support" as in tea and hugs (although that's nice!)
