I’ve just returned from almost a month of travelling in India and Nepal and I’m still slowly landing back into everyday life. I feel like I need some time to integrate everything I experienced 🙏🏼
It was a journey full of impressions: colours, smells, encounters with people and places that stay with you long after you leave.
Some moments were beautiful and deeply moving, others more challenging. And there were also experiences that I feel will reveal their lessons only with time.
I visited several Buddhist monasteries, Hindu temples and other sacred places of practice. Buddhism has been close to my heart for a few years now, so being able to spend time in these spaces felt very touching 💗
Part of the journey also took me to a yoga ashram in India, where I listened to Guruji's .omanand_guruji talks and deepened my understanding of yoga philosophy. It came at the perfect moment, as I’ve just started my Yoga Teacher training 🧘🏾
While I was there, I also received a mantra diksha ceremony from Guruji. During the ceremony I was also given a spiritual name: Rupa Anand. In these traditions a spiritual name is meant as a reminder of the path you walk and the qualities you cultivate through your practice.
I return a little tired after such an intense journey, but also very grateful. And I appreciate even more what I have here in England.
For now, I’m giving myself time to integrate this journey 🤗 I’m also grateful to return to my clients and my practice, bringing these experiences back with me and feeling more humble and very much inspired 🕉️🥰
