Every moon, pillar, lion, and angel you see in Tarot today has a story — because the symbols we recognise weren’t chosen at random. They evolved over centuries, influenced by alchemy, astrology, religion, numerology, and early esoteric philosophy. 🌙

When Tarot was first used for games, the imagery was decorative… but by the 1400s–1500s, artists began embedding deeper meaning into the cards.
The Sun, The Moon, The Hermit, Strength — these images carried universal themes of guidance, enlightenment, courage, and renewal.

By the 18th and 19th centuries, occultists began interpreting Tarot through:
✨ Astrology – linking signs and planets to the Major Arcana
✨ Alchemy – using transformation symbols like fire, vessels, ouroboros
✨ Kabbalah – mapping the cards to the Tree of Life
✨ Christian imagery – angels, virtues, spiritual lessons
