Drop into our first support session, where you will be given help and suport to access our triage forms, your medical records and ordering repeat prescriptions.

You can access urgent eyecare, free of charge and close to home by calling 0300 303 4922 Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm.

- Red or painful eye or eyelids
- Recently occurring flashes and floaters
- Recent and sudden loss of vision
- Foreign body in the eye

Anyone, whatever age and whether registered with an optician or not, can access treatment for any new or worsening urgent eye conditions.

This is an NHS service provided by accredited optometrists (also commonly known as opticians).

Prescription Ordering
Please can we remind our patients that we do not have a prescription clerk based at our Saltford Surgery branch site. Therefore, if dropping off paper requests, please allow longer for these requests to be processed – up to 5 working days. Some of you maybe aware that local hospital A&E departments, Urgent Care Centres and Minor Injury Units are asking staff and patients to wear masks due to the level of winter viruses spreading. We are asking patients with any respiratory symptoms for example coughs, colds or fever please wear a mask whilst attending the practice. This is to protect other patients and of course staff. We have masks available at reception at all 3 of our sites We thank you in advance for your cooperation. 😷
