Rested Mother: A Mother’s Day Special | Sunday 15th | 7pm | with the wonderful
A much needed rest class to round off the weekend and take some time for YOU 🫶 to slow down, soften and reconnect.
✨ This special evening Yin Yoga session offers a calm, supportive space to rest at the end of the day. Whether you’re a mother, caring for others, remembering someone special, or simply in need of a little time for yourself, you’re warmly welcome. ✨
Yin yoga is a slow, meditative style of practice where postures are held for several minutes, allowing gentle load through the body’s connective tissues and joints while inviting the nervous system to settle. It’s a practice that encourages softness, patience and deep rest.
In this Mother’s Day class we’ll explore an embodied approach to yin, weaving together longer-held shapes with subtle floor-based movement, pranayama (breathwork), gentle self-massage and nourishing rest. The practice is inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and the subtle energy pathways described within it.
Doing less can sometimes feel harder than doing more. In that space, yin becomes a practice of awareness and regulation - supporting both body and mind.
We’ll close with a longer, deeply restorative rest so you can leave feeling grounded, supported and ready for a restful night’s sleep.
