⛔West Walk Surgery Reception will be CLOSED on THURSDAYS 25 APRIL and 2 MAY 2024⛔

Whilst we are closed for routine queries, urgent services will be operating from our branch surgery at Coalpit Health. Yate will be used all day for pre-booked Covid vaccinations for patients aged over 75 years or immunocompromised.

As our Klinik system will be temporarily switched off, if you feel you need our help urgently on one of the above dates, please call us on 01454 272200 (note, all urgent appointments will be at Coalpit Health). If you have a routine enquiry, please contact us another day via Klinik to ensure urgent enquiries are prioritised.

Thank you for your understanding whilst we help protect those patients in need from Covid-19.

Due to winter pressures and closures over Christmas, we are dealing with urgent on the day appointments only for the rest of December.

If you have an urgent medical problem, please contact us via Klinik for your request to be triaged as usual https://access.klinik.co.uk/contact/west-walk-surgery

🩺 If you need to request a routine appointment, please contact us via Klinik AFTER 20 December when our team will be able to offer appointments for January 2024 🩺

Routine administrative/referral/medication queries can still be submitted via Klinik as usual.

Pharmacy teams are likely to be busy in the run up to Christmas. If you are due to run out of medication over the Christmas period, please put your prescription request in writing as usual by Friday 15 December 2023.

🎖🌍 We are pleased to share we have achieved a silver standard award for reducing our carbon footprint within the practice 🌍🎖

The NHS alone is responsible for 4-5% of the UK’s carbon footprint. To help reduce this, the Royal College of General Practitioners have developed the Green Impact for Health project that we have been taking part in. This has guided us to become more environmentally friendly by reducing our carbon emissions and plastic waste, helping us to improve care for both people and the planet at the same time.
