Is it your goal to stick a headstand? To balance on your hands or your forearms? Do want to build an inversion practice? I am introducing a brand new series of workshops based around inversions. Suitable whether you are new to inversions or want to explore more in a fun, group setting.

There are many good reasons to introduce inversions to your yoga practice: they help build strength and confidence, they boost mood, and reduce anxiety & stress.

Many inversion poses require significant core and upper body strength to hold yourself up. Regularly practicing inversions can help strengthen these muscles, which can improve your overall balance and stability, not just on the yoga mat but also in everyday activities.

Stress Reduction and Mental Well-being: The act of inverting can be calming and promote relaxation. Inversions may help to trigger the release of endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects, and can also help to reduce stress and anxiety.

Inversions have the affect of increasing oxygen delivery to your brain, which can leave you feeling more energized and alert. Inversions can also stimulate the lymphatic system, which helps remove waste products from your body, and can contribute to a feeling of lightness and well-being.

To celebrate spring I am offering an extra 15 mins for free when you book an hour massage. Spring is the perfect time to receive massage. Revive and reinvigorate alongside the rest of nature after a long winter.

For 10 days this Spring book an hour massage and get an extra 15 minutes for free! 75 minutes for the price of 60.
Offer begins the 10th of April, and runs till the 20th. You can book your massage ahead of this time but be sure to book within the window to take part in the offer.

The colder weather leaves many people with pain and stiffness. Massage can allow you to move more fluidly and prepare for the more active seasons of spring and summer. Tuesdays have changed! More yin, and an added yoga nidra practice. Now an hour and a half, of deep stretch and deep relaxation.

Yin yoga is a quiet contemplative practice that works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body: the ligaments, joints, and deep fascial networks.

This is followed by a guided yoga nidra meditation that is designed to take us into the deeper layers of our consciousness by working with body scan, breath and visualisation techniques.

There is no required level of yoga or flexibility to receive Ayurvedic yoga massage. The massage is completely tailored to the individual on the day, it can be super stretchy, or more restorative. More active or passive depending on the needs of the client. A free consultation is provided on the day to determine the best approach.

We usually stretch after massaging the area which can allow for a deeper stretch than might otherwise be attained but the client is never pushed passed thier natural range of movement.
