At Trika, we’re all about supporting your practice with a ‘diverse plate’ as an approach! Let us explain.. similar to how you eat different food groups, different colours on a plate, and textures, your body and brain are supported well by a variety of movement patterns too. Science is now confirming how a diverse practice isn’t just about flexibility; it’s about rewiring your biology at a cellular level.
Food is a language of care- think of warming spices, zesty flavours, rich textures - all the different foods and flavours that ground you or energise you where you need it as nourishment for our bodies - it provides literal building blocks for our health. 🥘
At the end of the day, our Yoga practice really includes all aspects of how we tend to ourselves, the care of our whole-being and feeling at home within yourself. 🙏🏼

You’re not alone if you struggle to get to sleep at night.. busy minds, full days, lights from our devices, and just the pace of life in general can make it tricky for our bodies to recognise when it is time to slow the pace down to prepare ourselves for rest and sleep for the night. 💤
We’ve focused our later evening classes to be centered around downshifting for better sleep 🙏🏼

Hi North Street that we love so 👋🏼 Coming into Autumn always brings us some nostalgic feels.. as we approach Dec, we are always gobsmacked that it’s been another year- a fact we are constantly thankful and grateful for. 🙏🏼
This December we are approaching our 9th birthday which boggles our mind in all honesty! Where has the time gone? 😱 Forever thankful to be here 🫶🏼

We are an independent studio, bang in the middle of North Street, in the Southville / Bedminster area of Bristol. We love our city, love the community we are in, and love sharing what we do with you all!
We really simply aim to share practices that have helped us go through all the varied things in our lives, and how we have found yoga to immensely help with whatever that may be. We enjoy being able to support you in your journey with yoga, whether that may be for flexibility, strength, mindfulness, calm minds, breathing space, fun... or all of the above!
We first opened our doors on the 3rd December 2016, in the middle of Winter after 7 weeks of building work with help from our friends (endless thank yous to you guys).
We put our heart and soul into making this a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable to be yourself, to explore your yoga practice, to find your stress-relief, to rest, to meditate, to move. And for the past 2 years it has indeed become that, and we are so thankful and humbled that you guys love it as much as we do.
Thank you for continually adding to the wonderful fabric of what Trika is. It is a joy to be part of the community and to continually make so many lifelong friends.
