Today we were delighted to welcome Rachel to Fairview, and what an incredible performance she gave! 🎵

Rachel treated us to all our favourite songs from the musicals, filling the lounge with smiles and pure joy as everyone sat back and took in her wonderful voice. It was a truly uplifting and our residents loved it. 🎭

A massive thank you to Rachel for such a wonderful afternoon ✨

Nick Dewfall Ball Games 🎾

Our armchair exercise and boccia sessions with Nick are always a hit! There’s plenty of laughter, gentle movement, and a bit of friendly competition as our residents get fully involved and cheer each other on.

These sessions are a wonderful way to stay active, boost confidence, and enjoy meaningful social time together.

This week, we’ve been learning lots of amazing facts about Greece. Did you know the dolphin is the national animal and Bear’s Breech is the national flower? 🌿🐬

Our Greek adventure continued today with some very tasty treats! 🇬🇷

Residents enjoyed sampling spinach & cheese parcels, bacon & cheese parcels, baklava, olives, feta, hummus and lots more delicious bites. A feast for the senses with so many flavours, textures and smiles – a fun and tasty activity everyone loved! 🍆🫒🧀✨

Our residents and staff have been busy getting ready for our trip to Greece this week! From getting creative with arts and crafts to decorating the home, the excitement is building as we prepare for our Greek-themed food tasting and activities later this week.

1:1 Music Magic ✨

Today we were joined by the lovely Siobhan for gentle 1:1 singing sessions with our residents.

The familiar melodies stimulated the senses and encouraged reminiscing, bringing back special memories and emotions. It was a truly magical experience, creating moments of calm, connection, joy, and many smiles. 🎼
