The residents enjoyed a calm and wonderful Mother’s Day celebration, beginning with a three-course meal consisting of melon balls for the starter, roast lamb for the main course, and chocolate orange truffle for dessert. The afternoon was then pleasantly spent enjoying a traditional cream tea together.🩷🩷

🍰 Monday Cookery Class with Lisa 🍲
Cooking together is such a special activity in our home. Not only do residents enjoy preparing tasty treats, but it also brings back lovely memories of family meals, favourite recipes, and time spent in their own kitchens over the years. ❤️

This week we chatted about traditional recipes and the dishes everyone used to make for their families. There were lots of stories shared about Sunday roasts, homemade cakes, and secret family ingredients!

Stuart Irish Dance joined us and treated everyone to an amazing showcase of traditional Irish dancing. The energy, music, and incredible performances had both our residents and staff smiling, clapping, and thoroughly enjoying every moment! ☘️💃

This afternoon we were delighted to welcome Stuart Irish Dance, who joined us to showcase a variety of traditional Irish dances. Their wonderful performance brought great energy and excitement, and both our residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Today we’re highlighting one of the comforting wellness activities we offer, gentle hand and foot massages for our residents. These calming sessions are more than just relaxing; they provide meaningful benefits that support overall wellbeing and comfort.
💙 Benefits of hand and foot massages include:
• Promoting relaxation and reducing stress
• Improving circulation and helping ease tension
• Supporting comfort in joints and muscles
• Encouraging calm, connection, and emotional wellbeing
• Creating a peaceful moment of one-to-one care and attention
To enhance the experience, we use the soothing aroma of eucalyptus oils, known for their fresh, calming scent that helps promote relaxation and a sense of wellbeing. The gentle fragrance helps create a tranquil environment where residents can unwind and enjoy a moment just for themselves.
